When the song finished both mom and I collapsed on the couch while bursting out laughing.

Mom and I are we're doing karaokes and dancing around the living room eleven in the morning. Our breakfast was long forgotten as we sang 'sign of the times' by Harry Styles one of mom and I's favourite singer.

Just then the door bell rang stopping our laughing fit. "I'll go get it" mom said getting up from the couch and left the living room.

I was going through Netflix and finding something to watch while I wait for mom to come back. "Honey there's someone here to see you" I heard mom's voice said. When I turned to her I was shocked to see the person standing behind her.

There stood the one and only Aiden Gray dressed in a white T-shirt, dark blue jeans and his signature leather jacket, he is looking hot, his hair was messy like he has been running his hands in it. His face looked really tired but he still managed to look perfect and hot.

When he saw me he let out a breath and his tired face had relief over it. Then I remembered last night and I am trying so hard not to blush or freak out under his intense gaze that was on me the entire time.

"Well I'll give you two some privacy" mom said leaving and at the same time I heard her phone ringing from the kitchen.

As soon as my mother left the room, I stood up from the couch and Aiden came towards me enveloped me in a tight hug. "Holly what the hell, I have been calling you non stop why didn't you answer" he demanded letting me go and blankly stared at me.

Then I remembered that I didn't charge my phone last night. "I'm really sorry I forgot to charge my phone last night" I said looking down. I don't like it when I get people worried because then I will get scared and get worried too, I know it might be weird.

"I don't want you doing it again I was looking for you through the entire school and the guys said they didn't see you come to school today" he said making me feel really bad that he searched through the entire school but he couldn't find me.

But if he actually picked me up today I would have told him that I won't be going to school but no he didn't because he only comes to pick me up whenever he wants or just feels like it.

"Do you hear me Holly I never want this to happen again, you know that I don't like to repeat myself so Have.Your.Phone.With.You. At.All.Times" he demanded and clarifying each words as if he was talking to a toddler. I nodded my head but then remembered that he doesn't like when I nod according to rule number 8, So I just mumbled a quiet 'okay Aiden I understand'.

"Good, now let's get to what you are wearing, what the fuck Holly just because I'm not here doesn't mean you can break the rules" he said with anger in his voice and his eyes on the clothes I was wearing as he wrapped his arms around my waist and pulled me to him, his entire Cologne invaded my nose as he grabbed my chin making me look up at him, my eyes met his piercing grey eyes that was looking directly into my eyes.

Oh shoot rule number 2: don't wear anything revealing and I totally forgotten that I was revealing clothes, but I didn't know he was coming here he never tells me anything because he is so damn secretive and dominant which drives me a little crazy sometimes.

"Aiden it's not like it matters, no one is here to see me in this. It's just just my mom and I" I blurted out without thinking. Double shoot that wasn't what I was supposed to say. Now he is going to think I just broke rule number 1: don't disrespect him.

His grey eyes darkened, he looked at me with a fixed glare as his grip tightened on my waist as he pulled me closer to him and he was about to say something when my mom entered the room she looked excited but stopped when she saw Aiden and I.

Aiden took his hands off my waist, clearing his throat. "Did I interrupt something" mom asked with all seriousness but she looked like she was hiding a smile.

"No actually I was about to leave, it was really nice meeting you Mrs Anderson" Aiden said giving me a last glance and leaving the living room and I heard the front door opened and closed. I let out a breath I didn't even know I was holding.

"What was that" was the first thing my mom asked. I just blushed and then I sat on the couch and hid my face on one of the cushion from the couch.

"It was nothing mom he was just worried that I didn't come to school today so he came to check up on me and he was giving me a goodbye hug" I said to her hoping she wouldn't ask anymore questions, but this is my mom we are talking about, she doesn't let things go.

"It didn't look like that from my point of view, are you two together" she asked with this creepy smile on her face.

"No mom he is just my friend" I said but for some reason it pained me to say it because my feelings are getting in the way and I want him to be more than just my friend, though I don't think Aiden would ever agree with me.

"Well you're friend was hot" she said and I looked at her like she had grown two heads but then we just bursted out laughing.

That's why I love my mom so much, she could always find a way to make everything better and fun, I'm so glad that she is back. "What about you" I asked trying to change the subject and turn the tables on her.

"What about me" she challenged as if she already knew what I'm attempting to do. Honestly I am like an open book to her and she knows me like the back of her hand, Which is why I can never lie to her.

"When you came in the living room you looked really excited, so mommy dearest spill the beans" I said now my turn to give her the creepy smile as I leaned closer to her to get a better listening.

She started blushing "well Jeremy called me and he wanted to see me, so we made plans this weekend with him, his kids, you and me" she said with excitement in her voice like a love sick teenager, wasn't that supposed to be my job.

"So they are going to be taking a flight just for the weekend" I asked and she nodded yes her smile still on her face. You know what I got a better idea that they would not have to see each other only in weekends, but only if they agree though.

"Why don't they just move in with us I mean we live in a huge house just the two of us and you guys are already engaged so don't you think that it is time" I said and I mean it, I just want her to be happy and I could see that Jeremy makes her really happy.

A shocked expression took over her face as she wasn't expecting me to say such a thing. "You-u mean that-t" she stuttered when she asked and I nodded yes "of course mom I just want you to be happy" I said giving her a smile.

I was a little shocked when I saw tears coming out of her eyes and she gave me a tight hug. "I love you so much my precious little goldfish, I will keep saying this, I'm so glad to have such an amazing daughter like you" she said and when she let me go the tears coming down her face were visible.

"Mom why are you crying" I asked a little bit scared cause I have not really seen her in a state like this.

"That my little goldfish are happy tears and right now I'm going to be talking to Jeremy, I'll be right back" she said excitedly and ran out of the living room with her phone against her ear. I just laughed shaking my head, that's my mother for you.
