Chapter 11

(Back to Holly's POV when Aiden left)

As soon as Aiden left I was still standing against the locker and taking deep breaths making sure that I don't faint because that would be really embarrassing.

Did this mean that he liked me back, but this is Aiden we're talking about, he is not going to give up his player ways for a simple and boring girl like me. While he is popular all around the world I'm just a girl who got homeschooled for sixteen years and doesn't have any friends well except Miguel, while I stay at home watching Netflix and eating junk foods he parties out with his best friends and they do illegal things.

I stopped over thinking when I saw Miguel towering over me. "Um wow that was something else, is that Aiden your boyfriend" he asked "No actually-" I cut myself off. Thinking through this, Miguel has been nothing but nice and I trust him to tell him about what's happening with Aiden and I.

And that's exactly what I did, since he was gonna do Mrs Morris's assignment we're both on our way to the library and I explained from everything from the first time I stepped in this school and until now including my crush on Aiden.

"He is such an asshole, how can you let him treat you like that, Holly this is unacceptable" Miguel said fuming.

I was about to say something but something else caught my eyes not far from where we were walking not something but two persons kissing.

That boy's back is something I would recognized anywhere but I am just hoping that it's my imagination and it's not really him.

But I was proved wrong when we got closer it was Aiden Gray kissing a brown hair girl in a cheer leading outfit . I couldn't stop the tear that slipped from my eyes when I looked at the two people in my sight, the feeling of sadness and betrayal coursed through my body.

The worst part is that he looked like he was really enjoying and it hurts even more than before. I don't think Miguel noticed them because he was too busy insulting Aiden. "I have to go" I said my voice breaking as I turned back around and ran to the girls restrooms and going in a cubicle locking the door as I sat down on the toilet seat and let my tears run down my face.

How could he do this, did the kiss we just had meant nothing to him. Was I that bad at kissing that he had to go and kiss another girl five minutes later, is there a problem with me. But then I remembered that we are not together so he can do his own thing.

Suddenly I heard a knock from outside the door. "Holly are you okay, I can hear you sobbing from outside this cubicle" I heard Miguel's voice say. He shouldn't even be in the girls bathroom, but I'm so glad that he came to check up on me, that is so sweet of him he barely knows me but he cares about me and that really warmed my heart.

I unlocked the door and when he saw me he had a worried expression on his face but he then enveloped me in a tight hug while I cry into his chest and explained to him what I saw, he just listened and tell me that it will be okay.

At the sound of the bell ringing I stopped crying and when I did Miguel let me go. "Feel much better" he asked and I nodded and when I took a look on his shirt I saw that it was damped with my tears.

"Oh my gosh, I'm so sorry about your shirt" I said taking a tissue and started wiping but Miguel grabbed my hand stopping me "no there's no need for that Holly" he said and took the tissue from my hand and then grabbed my chin making me look up at him"close your eyes" he said and I did what I was told, I felt him dabbling and wiping the tissue against my eyes slowly wiping away the tears.

As he finished I opened my eyes to see him giving me a big smile "we should go to class" he said and I nodded and followed him out of the restroom "what do you have now" I asked and took out his schedule and looked on it "chemistry" he said and I nodded "I have physics" I said and he nodded "alright I guess I'll see you later then, don't worry I'll just ask someone to know where to go" he said giving me his charming smile and walked away.

But I was willing to help him, it wouldn't matter if I had arrived late to class. I got my physics books and bag from my locker and then walked to physics class and when I entered the classroom I saw Aiden sitting at the back of the class as usual and he was talking to Carlos.

The same hurtful feeling from earlier came back but I quickly adverted my eyes from him and took a seat at the front row making sure he wouldn't see me cause I know he hasn't noticed me yet, I know I'm breaking rule number 3. Rule: always sit with him in class, but I have to be far away from him in order to not break down in front of everyone in this class.

Besides he already has Carlos, Theo and Brandon with him so I don't think he needs me to be with him all the time. Soon the teacher started the lessons and I managed to focus.

About one hour later the class finished I quickly packed my stuffs, bag and got out of the classroom at the same time as the others so Aiden wouldn't see me because I know he doesn't get out of class until everyone has.

When I took a last look in the classroom a pair of darkened gray eyes were already looking at me making my heart beat faster so I quickly looked down and walked away as fast as I could and exited the school since it was last bell for the day.

I saw my mom's black Range Rover outside of the gates and I quickly walked to it and got in "Hello my little goldfish how was your day" she asked starting the car and started driving. "It was good" I quietly said, I wanted to tell her everything that happened today but I couldn't find the courage to do that even though I always share everything with her.

"Okay what happened" she asked and glanced at me. "Nothing I'm just hungry" I said trying to change the subject and it's true, I didn't eat anything at lunch because I was too busy crying that I forgot.

"Yeah that's why we are going to get some fast food for us" she said and my stomach growled out loud when I'm thinking about fast foods and I blush in embarrassment and she bursted out laughing.

"We are here" she said still as she got out the car with her purse in her hand. "I'll be back" she said and walked in the fast food restaurant.

She came back with three bags full of fast foods and the delicious smell immediately attacked my nose making my mouth water. She gave me the bags and I immediately look for what she got and started devouring the cheese Burger.

When we got home my stomach was full because during the ride home I ate like half of the junk foods that was in the bag. My mom's phone rang and she looked at the caller ID. "It's Jeremy" she said with excitement in her voice making me smile "I'll see you inside" I said still smiling as my took my bag and got out.
