Something About Him

Chapter 16

It has been almost a week since I saw Aiden and it's odd because him, Brandon, Carlos and Theo hasn't come to school and I am not going to lie I miss them, this whole week I have been thinking about what Aiden said last Friday when he said that he should be the only guy who should touch me, it felt good hearing him say that but I don't think he knows what he was talking about because he was drunk but some part of me believed him and wanted him to mean it because I also wanted him to be the only guy in my life.

"Ms Anderson I would like it if you would pay attention to what I'm teaching" I heard Ms Jones saying and I snapped out of my thoughts too see that everyone's head had turned in my direction including the teacher who had a look of disapproval on his face.

Aiden stop messing with my head that I can't even focus on my studies. But I can't blame him, this is all me. "Sorry" I quietly said and everyone's head and eyes returned to the front where the teacher was standing, thank goodness for that cause I was starting to get really uncomfortable with all the eyes on me.

The rest of the period I managed to focus on the lessons and about forty munites later the lunch bell rang and everyone piled out the classroom.

I was the only one behind as I packed all my books and stationeries in my bag and I was almost done but stopped when someone behind me placed their hands on my eyes blocking my view.

Who would do this, I'm not that close with anyone in this school except Aiden, his best friends and Miguel even though we just met one week ago.

They leaned down towards my right ear "guess who" a deep thick Spanish accent whispered against my ears making me smile because I already knew who it is by his accent.

I let out a laugh "um I don't know is it Miguel by any chance" I asked playing along with his game. "Ding, one point for Holly" he said as he removed his hands from my eyes and I turned around to face him to see that he had a big smile on his face.

"Hi, what's gotten you so happy today" I asked smiling back at him. "Well I was looking for you so I could tell you that I got in on the football team" he said his voice filled with joy and excitement. I knew that he could play for the football team, he basically has the character for it.

I wrapped my arms around him giving him a hug "that sounds awesome congratulations" I excitedly said smiling wider as I pulled away.

He opened his mouth to say something "yo bro I've been looking for you, coach wants to see you ASAP" an unfamiliar voice said behind Miguel and he turned to the person "be there in a sec" he said and turned back to me.

He then leaned down and gave me a quick hug "I'll see you when I see you" he said smiling and then left with the boy.

I walked out of the classroom while thinking of where I would be eating lunch. Then I settled to go to a random cafe today because Aiden is not here today so I don't have to sit with him at lunch.

Students could go out when it's lunch and it's not a problem as long as you returned back to school after lunch.

I walked to the parking lot where my beautiful gray Range Rover was beautifully parked and the afternoon sun shining on it making it sparkle in perfection, gosh I really love this car.

It was gifted to me for my birthday by someone close to the family but my mom never told me who it was so I didn't really asked her anymore questions.

I unlocked the car door and got in the driver's seat and started the car making my trip to the cafe and increased the volume of the song that was playing while jamming to it.

But during the car ride I decided that I was craving for a double cheese burgers and fries so I stopped at a drive thru instead because it will more quicker.

When I got back to school I walked to the library, finally "Hi Ms Kim" I said to the sweet librarian who was too busy in her book to notice me but as she heard me she lifted her head and gave me one of her heartwarming smiles.

"Hello sweetie how are you, it's been a long time since I last saw you" she said and I felt so bad, when I first came to this school I used to come here a lot because I had no friends and I liked being alone and surrounded by books and I also wanted to avoid Aiden after he claimed me as his but he would always find me. Ms Kim and I had good times, she is like a grandma to me.

"I'm doing good and I'm really sorry about that but I'm really busy with school works that I don't even have the time for myself" I said and I felt really bad for not telling her the truth but every time I try to come here someone has to happen, that someone would be the one and only Aiden.

"It's okay sweetie, you are here now so that's good, now off you go and read the books I saved for you" she said giving me about five books and playfully shooing me away.

"Is it okay if I eat my lunch in here" I asked and she nodded "of course you can, but you have to go where no sees you" she whispered and I smiled while nodding. "Okay thank you" I said taking the books and walked to the deserted part of the library.

I was busy with the second book when the bell rang signalling that it is the end of lunch.

I got up from my favourite seat taking the empty greasy paper bags with me. "Bye Ms Kim I will see you soon" I said walking out of the library. "Bye sweetie" I heard her saying.

I went to my locker and took out the books I needed for Math class, I made my way to the class and made sure I threw away the garbage in the bin.

When I arrived to class the teacher was already leaning against his front desk going through a book while waiting for everyone to get seated.

He was early always to class and made sure that everyone else was also on time or there would be consequences. When everyone else got in class he looked up from his book "good afternoon class" he said putting the book away.

The entire class also said good afternoon "okay I presume you all know that we have a test today" he asked and the class nodded, I didn't know that we had a test today, I have been so caught up with Aiden that I forgot about something so important. "Okay then good luck" he said giving out papers to everyone.

When the last bell rang of the day most of the class had finished and I had already finished way before, thank goodness for that cause it wasn't that difficult and I'm sure I got a good grade like usual.

I got up from my seat and packed my stuffs putting it in my bag, I then gave my paper to the teacher and he scans through it and nodded "you may go" he said and I nodded leaving the classroom to the parking lot to my beauty.

Thank goodness today is Friday, it has been a long week without Aiden and I felt free, I could go home and take a bubble bath, do my home works and after that watch some films on Netflix while eating junk foods, yeah sounds like a great plan to me.

When I got to my beauty I got in and started the car driving to the route of my house.

When I got there the gates opened and I drove forward to find that Aiden's car was still there where I parked it last week, Aiden has not bothered to come to take it back, I thought this car was his favorite one, though this time there was someone leaning against it, when I drove my car closer I saw that it was Aiden on his phone.

My heart started to beat a little faster and palms are all sweaty on the steering wheel which was signs that I was getting nervous. I shut off the car and took out the keys from the ignition.

When I got out of the car Aiden raised his head from his phone and his beautiful grey eyes meeting mine immediately got me hypnotized. He was looking really hot in his blue button up shirt and black jeans with his hair all messy like usual, I wonder where he is going.

When I got more closer to him "it was about time grandma" he said.
