i noticed that arin have been really quite these days. i mean she always ignore me but she's been spacing out more often these days. i wonder what's bothering her. so i decided to cancel our break time together to spy on her.

she walked out of the class and made her way to the rooftop. "i did what you told me. now , can you let him go ?" she said. 'let who go ?'

"you know why you're dumb ? it's because you're willing to do anything for him" a girl said. "what do you know ? love makes people dumb. just like how you threatening me right now" arin said.

'oh my god... MY GIRLFRIEND IS SO COOL !!' i squealed quietly.

"this bitch–" the girl was about to throw hands when i opened the rooftop door. "what are you doing to my girl ?" i asked her in stern voice.

"o- oppa.. um we're just-" the girl stuttered and i cut her off. "is my girl okay ? are you hurt ?" i touched arin's cheek and she shook her head. i hugged her and the girl clenched her fist.

"i give you 5 seconds to get out of here. or else i'll report you for what you did" i said without looking at her.

she stomped her feet and made her way out of the rooftop.

we stayed quiet while she's still in my arms. "could you let go of me now ?" she asked and i did. "sorry , i was just worried about you.. sorry for acting like a creep and followed you up here" i apologized.

"no , it's okay. if it weren't for you , i would've gotten into a fight and got suspended" she shrugged.

"do you know how worried i was about you these days ? why didn't you tell me about her threatening you ? what would i do if i lose you ?" i asked her. she looked at me with teary eyes. that was the first time i saw her like that.

she hugged me. "i'm sorry , i didn't want you to worry about me since soccer practice have been hard for you these days. instead , i make you worry even more" i returned her hug and rested my head on hers.

"it's okay , just.. promise me you'll tell me next time these things happen , okay ?" i said and smiled. "mmkay" she said and sniffed. "wait- did you cry ?" i asked and chuckled. "shut up" she mumbled and hugged me tighter.

"you're so cute" i said. "i know" she replied. "i take that back" i joked and received a punch in the arm.

"ow ! that hurts you know !" "serves you right ! " she said.

i handed her pocket tissues to wipe her tears and snots. she snatched them from me and blew her nose.

"you're annoyingly cute"
