Zayn's pov

Since Kylie asked to go to the park, I drove her there. I helped her out of the car and she hooked her right arm with my left arm. It felt good to have her by my side. We walked over to a bench where there was plenty of shade for the both of us. After I sat down, she sat down beside me and leaned her head against my shoulder.

"Thank you for everything you've done for me. It really means a lot," Kylie spoke.

"I'm glad I could help," I replied.

"This might sound silly but I like being around you."

"Me too."

Just then she smiled her beautiful smile and her eyes sparkled.

"Kylie?" A familiar voice spoke in the distance. She looked confused but stood up. I stood up behind her for protection. It was Jayden.

"Kylie... oh my gosh. Did I do that to you?"

I could tell she was tensing up and starting to cry. She also was hiding her arm.

He started to walk towards her to give her a hug. She stepped back and I walked in front of her.

"Don't touch her Jayden. You've already hurt her enough."

He had an evil glare in his eyes but no matter what, I would protect her. Even if we were just neighbors, she was more than that. She was one in a million.

He turned to her then back at me.

"She is still my girlfriend. Come on Kylie."

Just then, he pushed me out of the way and grabbed her arm. She gasped as i pushed him away. There was no way be was going to touch her.

Then, he aimed a punch at my head. Somehow, he hit it just right that I dont remember anything after that...
