"I don't think I want to wear a dress Rosa," Ember says, words mumbled and features a little forlorn as she looks at her handmaiden.

It's been a week or so, and King Lance's celebration has finally arrived. They were due to leave in an hour or so, board a jet, and reach to the Vampire Kingdom in less than an hour.

A few minutes before Rosa had walked in, with three different dresses for Ember to choose from, the healer had visited the wolf. She fed Ember a paste, that didn't taste that nice, tasting of strong and medicinal herbs, almost burning as it went down her throat.

But it settles into her stomach with ease, slowly absorbing into her bloodstream. By the time she stepped foot into the bloodsucker vicinity, she wouldn't be able to smell them at all. Her body and mind would be free from it, and for that she was very thankful.

"Why not my dear?" the female says, hanging up the dresses and beginning to unzip the protective shield.

"Well-because, look at me. I won't look beautiful in a dress. I don't wear them. I'm utterly digusti-," her voice trails off, eyes widening and features kissed with awe, as Rosa slowly unzips each dress. The words refuse to leave her throat, her mouth just gaping wide and amber hues utterly round.

"Oh," it's all she can breathe out, looking to Rosa for permission, before she tentatively feels the fabric between her thumb and pointer finger.

They all had similar styles, but of different colours and fabrics. Each dress was long, no slits at all, no skin to be shown. They were all fully sleeved, and had a full back and front.

Nothing that made Ember hate herself, would be shown.

"No scars," it's an excited squeal from the wolf, as she turns back to Rosa and hugs her hard, kissing her cheek appreciatively.

"They're so pretty," she says, cupping her cheeks as she looks at each one in turn. Rosa only stands with a mellow expression, happy that she was able to make her Queen feel good.

"Can I please have this one?" she pleads with bright eyes, and Rosa nods with a warm expression.

It was a pastel pink dress – obviously – that was made from pleated fabric. It covered from the curve of her neck, all the way down just to a little above her ankle, but she didn't mind. No one would look at her feet. It had a blouson long sleeve, and a strip of fabric was used as a belt, turning to a bow at the front. Rosa had paired it with some white stiletto heels, that weren't that tall, but she was excited to not be that small.

Ember loved it.

"I'd like my hair up. Is that okay?" asking Rosa, who agrees, as the female leads the wolf to the vanity stand. Ember peels her hoodie off, so Rosa could do her face and hair.

She gasps, eyes wide.

"And a bow. Like this one," shuffling through the small stash she had, picking up a white bow, made from lace. Rosa smiles, before beginning.

Her hair is pulled up into a high ponytail, sealed with the bow attached, front sleeked and a few small curls framing her face. The curls are left untouched when pulled back, merely just refreshed with a spray.

Rosa didn't near Ember's face – it was porcelain, untouched and free from blemish, not the mention those beautiful dark freckles that covered her cheeks and nose. Her eyelids are coated with the slightest sheen of a glossy pink, the same on her lips. Rosa didn't bother with a blush – Ember blushed a lot anyway. After a few drops of liquid highlight in all the right places, she's done.
