Cookie was at Empire trying to rid her thoughts of Lucious. He really had copycats out there killing people just so they could be crowned the next El Diablo!
Half of the victims have been identified now. Cookie knew Angelo wasn't within the other half because she called him and he said he was fine. And shereally needed it to stay that way.
But Cookie stopped thinking about that. She needed to focus on making her money. So she needed to find Noah Brooks because he owed her some music.
She found him. "NOAH!"
He smiled at her. "Wassup Cookie."
"How about you tell me. When's your song coming out?"
Noah wasn't as chirpy anymore. "Look, I have horrible writers block right now-"
Cookie shut him up. "Nu uh, HUSH! Because all I'm hearing is a bunch of excuses!"
"It's not excuses! I'm really stuck!"
"Well you better figure something out Noah because your fans are damn near ready to give up on you! You haven't released anything in a year!" Cookie warned.
"They gotta be patient with me, man! I got a lot going on! I got a baby to take care of and everything!"
That was another excuse because Tiana, Hakeem, and Star were also parents but they had no trouble making music on the side!
So Cookie got inside of Noah's head. "They've been patient for too long, Noah! So give them something unless you want all of your fans to support Jamal instead! Or even worse, Hakeem."
Noah's pissed now. "Hell na! I'll come up with something!"
Cookie smirked because she knew that would make him cooperate. "I know you will."
Then he walked off and Cookie also walked off and bumped into Treasure next. It was a good thing she did because she actually needed to speak to her on Jamal's behalf. "Oh Treasure! I need a favor from you!"
"Anything."
"Can you convince Raven to stay away from Jamal? Because Jamal despises her and I don't want no problems at my company," Cookie said.
"I already told her to leave him alone but she's too in love."
"Convince her, Treasure. Because if not, I'm gonna have to get rid of you," Cookie threatened.
