Meeting the Gang

As I got inside the treehouse i could see two other boys. Another blonde haired boy but its longer and also has glasses then theres another boy haired boy which is short almost looks buzzed but is not.

" So, my names Chis Chambers and this is Gordie Lachance."Chris said pointing to Gordie- the one with the longer brown hair. Then Chris continued "This one here is the one and only Teddy Duchamp and this here is Vern Tessio." He interoduces. "Nice to meet you guys, I'm Dawn Watters" I say shaking each of their hands,they all seem pretty nice especially Chris. "So I heard you said you're new, where are you from?" Gordie asks. I answer "I'm from Indiana, I just moved here today." theyall just nodded and started playing cards. "hey uh Dawn right? Do you wanna play cards with us?" Teddy asks, but without me answering he pulls up a small wooden stool, and I sit down. I don't play i just want to watch anyway, but also want to get to know these guy they seem very nice and polite so far. "Hey Dawn so if your not doing anything this weekend maybe we can all do something and get to know you and you can get to know us." Teddy says without looking up from hid cards. "Ya sure that'd be nice, also considering I don't know anyone." I respond smiling since I may have just made some friends on my first day here! "Ok where do you live so we can come by" Teddy answers. "36 Hover Drive, oh i better get going my parents are probably wondering where I am .'' I tell him (made up address). "Great see you tomorrow Dawn we'll come around at like 12." Teddy responds. " Bye guys nice meeting you guys!" I say as i leave and i hear a lot of byes while I climb down the ladder. When i was going down the ladder my shoe lace got stuck around the rung and i was bending down to fix it when i heard talking above me. "what was all that Teddy I've never seen you so nice before." I heard someone say. "Hey we just met her and she seems nice I don't want her to be scared of how crazy i am." I heard someone say which must have been Teddy. "Uh huh you thought she was cute." another voice said i think it was Vern. "Hey shut up Vern." I heard with a bang. "Ow..Sorry Teddy." said Vern. "Alright lets keep playing." I heard Chris say before i finish going down the ladder and walking back home. It took me labout 15 minutes to get home because i walked very slowly. I was thinking about how maybe this place won't be so bad, even though it is a small town. I was really excited for tomorrow also with the boys. When I got home my mom was making supper in the kitchen. "hey how was your walk, how come you were gone so long?" my mother asks. "oh I met some friends and is it ok if I go with them tomorrow around 12?" I ask. "Sure what are they names?" my mom questions, I wonder what she'll think when she hears that they are boys. "Chris,Teddy, Gordie, and Vern..." I say trailing off at the end to see what my moms reaction is. "oh how'd you meet them?" she didn't seem surprised at all. "I bumped into them walking and then we all started taking." I didn't really want to tell my mom that I tried to break into a treehouse, even though that's not what happened she would see it that way or something. She liked my sister Taylor more cause she's more girly, like my mom. "Well ok, go get your father and sister for dinner." my mom says placing plates and forks down on the table. I nod my head and run off to go get my father and Taylor for dinner.
