First Day at a New School Part 1

Beep! Beep! Beep! My alarm jerks me awake signaling it is 6:30. I slowly get out of bed rubbing my eyes and try to wake myself up. I wake over to my dresser and start picking out my outfit for my first day. I picked out a pair of jeans, one of my nicer shirt which is a maroon tank top with a cutout at the bottom. Then I picked out my black high top converse and threw on one of my favorite necklaces my dad got me for my birthday. I went into the bathroom and brushed my teeth, fixed my hair then went downstairs to go eat breakfast. My mom made chocolate chip waffles! I sat down and started eat taking my time because i still had 15 minutes till i had to leave for school. Boy, i am so nervous what all the kids are like my old school. The jocks who were all assholes and the snobby girls who wear too much makeup and dress up looking like a barbie doll. On the bright side I already have made 4 friends, but they are all boys. Will people judge me for being friends with only boys? You know what I don't care what people think anyway, we could move in a year or two and i could leave behind this little town. I came back to reality when my mom came in the kitchen grabbing her keys and telling me its time to leave. I got up and put my dish in the sink then grabbed my back pack and ran out of the house and into the car. It was a silent car ride only a few questions from my mom, i was just so nervous about this new school. I knew we were there when the car stopped suddenly and my mom turned to me. "Have a good day and make lots of friends!" My mom said while giving me a kiss on the cheek. I got out of the car looking at my surroundings, it was a pretty big school, also considering it goes from grades 6-12 which we didn't have at my old school. I'm going to 7th grade here and i figured out Chris, Gordie, Teddy, and Vern are also in 7th grade so I'm hoping that ill be in some of their classes. "Here we go" I say to myself while walking through the doors of my new school.  I see girls giving me dirty looks, all wearing skirts and dresses. I just walk by everyone in the crowed hallways, some people give me nasty looks and other smile. One boy approaches me "Hi, I'm Ian!" the boys say happily. I study him, he has dark brown hair that whisks to the said and he eyes are a light green, i have to admit he is very handsome. "I'm Dawn, nice to meet you" I finally respond. "So, where ya headed." Ian asks. "I'm looking for the main office to get my schedule, but i have absolutely no idea where I'm going" I say honestly. "I can help you,here follow me." Ian take my hand and brings be down a couple hallways and finally we arrive at the main office, "I'll wait out here so i can help you find your other classes." Ian says smiling, i just return the smile and open the door and walk in. I then find a door that is labeled Principal Erin, so I knock then i hear a come in and so i open the door walk in and sit down. " Hello, I'm guessing your Dawn, I'm Principal Erin, nice to meet you." He says shaking my hand. "Nice to meet you too sir, I was wondering if i could have my schedule." I ask him nicely. " Oh yes of course! Here it is. If you had any troubles just come to me. Nice meeting you Dawn." the principal says handing me my schedule. " Thank you sir." I respond getting up and walking out of the room and out of the office to see Ian still standing there. "Hey thanks for waiting." I tell Ian. "No problem, lets see what you got here." Ian says taking my schedule and comparing it to his. " Look we got English, Math, and Science together!!" Ian explains excitedly. "We better get going we have English." Ian continues grabbing my hand again leading me to English. Maybe this school won't be too bad after all. 

A/N     I AM SO SORRY!!! I got caught up in all my summer activities its going to be hard for me to update a lot because i have tryouts for sports and pre season till school  starts. So I'm going to be pretty busy but i'll try as hard as i can to update asap!! Sorry this is a pretty boring chapter but this is just part 1 of 2 wfor the first day of school.
