It was around 8:30 at night when Aaron and I got back to our bedroom. I got into the shower and stood, rethinking today. I didn't do much but I feel mentally drained.
So much occurred in one day and I'm finding difficult to comprehend it. I'm pregnant, my husband, my best friend and castle are on board, and I'm going to be a mother...
Yeah I don't think it's clicking.
I step out of the shower and wrap the towel around myself, while wiping my feet on the floor towel. I head to the sink and brush my teeth after brushing my hair. I collect my watch and bracelets.
9:15 p.m. already?
I must have lost track of time...
Aaron might be worrying. He tries his best to not suffocate me but I know it gets hard at times.
Him and have been on the verge of death countless times and my death would completely ruin him.
I would never blame him nor get upset if he worries about me. I actually admire it, seeing how much he cares for me. That's one of the reasons why I'm so sure I want this baby with him. I love him to death.
Knock knock
It's like telepathy.
"Yes?"
"Just making sure your alright. It's been 45 minutes."
I step out of the bathroom, wrapped in a towel.
"im perfect" I say while were facing eachother, chest to chest.
I have a feeling this new journey is going to strengthen our bond even more.
He gives me a kiss on the cheek and I head to the closet to change. I throw on a pair of shorts and tank top before sliding into bed.
"Aaron are you coming?" I say calling him while he's in his office.
"I should be done in about a half hour, my love. You don't have to wait for me." He says
I exhale. Work, I think, rolling my eyes.
I lay in bed for a long time, thinking all about what's to come.
AARON POV
It's been almost 45 minutes since I spoke to Juliette. I thought she was asleep but whip my eyes on the papers in front of me, I see her figure leaning on the door frame from my peripheral vision.
"You're not as subtle as you think." I say chuckling.
"Well, you said you be back in 30 minutes, 45 minutes ago." She says with a little pout. She's right, I did promise that, and I also can't ever say no to that face.
I push my chair back from the desk and stand up, walking toward the door.
I smile, caressing her cheek that lays in my hand.
"Let me shower and then ill join you, hmm?"
"Ok" she says smiling.
I release her cheek and head toward the bathroom.
When I finish changing, I walk out of the room to see Juliette with a grin on her face, propped up on an elbow...
Ill be in for a long night ; )
