I love my room.
It's decorated with color-changing LED lights and soft pastel hues swirl around the walls. My bed is covered in thrifted pink lace and TXT posters line my walls.
I wipe off my mascara as I flip open my computer and type 'Jaerin' into the search bar of the school website.
His beautiful face pops up, with perfectly tousled hair and full lips.
I screenshot it and sigh, leaning back into my chair.
I rub my eyes from exhaustion and make a plan to finish my homework and bring my dinner upstairs.

The next morning, all I can think of is Jaerin. The day goes by once again, but I try to focus on every second of lunch - to see his face as much as possible.
But my mind floats away from him, focusing on my conversation with Soorin about our history test.
"What did you get for 5?" she asks, and I'm smile, remembering this is the one that I was confident in.
"426 tons," I smirk.
"The question was about the 16th president Eunbi."
My entire brain stops working to comprehend what happened, and I mentally facepalm myself hoping nobody heard what just happened.
I glance around and let out a sigh of relief right before I catch Jaerin watching and smirking.
"Oh my god, please tell me you didn't hear that."
He shrugs. "No promises."
I hold my head in my hands hoping I could die at that moment.
Jaerin tilts his head towards me and leans closer to the table, checking if I'm okay.
I ignore the bajazillagajillion butterflies tickling my throat as I see his concerned expression.
"To be fair," he sighs. "History is by far the worst subject to take."
I know Soorin would disagree with this, but I silently wish that she won't say anything so I could talk to Jaerin instead.
Soorin, being the amazing friend that she is, keeps quiet.
"For real," I agree. Then I pause. "On second thought, Trig might be worse. Or maybe a close second."
"Geometry and Trig are basically tied for me."
"Geometry? I have a 100 in that class, it's easy?"
Jaerin shakes his head. "Math stopped making sense when they added the alphabet in."
I laugh, and we continue talking till the bell rings and we wave our goodbyes.
My energy is bright the rest of the day, and I have a bounce in my step as I practically dance throughout the hallways.
Out of the corner of my eye, I see Rei looking at me and whispering to her friend, but I just toss my hair and keep moving on with life.
No negative energy can bring me down at this state, no matter how hard it tries.
And so, I talk to Jaerin each and every lunch. We get closer and closer, but I just can't get enough of Him.
