A Drop of Color (Elaina X OC)

Prologue: "Ashen Witch" Elaina and "Summoner" Xed

(This is already guessing that you know about the plot of Wandering Witch Elaina.)

There were 2 children running about, having fun, and playing with each other.

"You can't catch me, Xed!"

"Oh yes I can, Elaina!"

The first child was Xed, a young boy with black hair and black eyes. 

He was a newborn when his parents passed, so he was taken to an orphanage. He wasn't treated very well due to his lineage of sorcery, Summoning magic. Of course, most people who can use magic can use "summoning" magic...

...

...and ONLY summoning magic.

It was why he was not seen as a good candidate for magic and was looked down by others. 

But he didn't care about any of that and he is living his life with a good friend of his.  

Elaina.

Elaina was a young girl with short white hair. Unlike Xed, if we were to talk about talents in magic, you could say she was a prodigy in it.

Her dream is to venture the wide world after she has her debut as a witch.

To travel the world the same way her favorite character from a book did.

What is Xed's dream, you ask?

After the 2 were tired of playing (Elaina mostly), they sat down to rest.

"Hey, Xed." 

"Yeah?"

"I already told you my dream before, why haven't you told me yours?"

As Elaina asked him that, Xed looked up to the clear sky.

"...I didn't tell you mine because I didn't have one."

Elain was surprised by his answer.

"Eh?! Really? And you still don't have one?"

Xed shook his head as a negative.

"T-Then, can you become my travelling partner?"

Xed looked at her with raised eyebrows, surprised.

"Are you sure? You could get a better partner than me by summoning one or-"

"Nope! You're definitely the ONLY partner for me to travel with." Elaina interjected with a huge smile on her face.

Xed thought about it, then smiled.

"...sure. I'd like that."

'Yay!' With a cheer, she stood up and strode forward a bit before turning around to face him.

"Then, let's start the pact!" Elaina said as Xed had an amused smile on his face. He also stood up straight as he waited for her to begin the 'pact'.

"I, the Ashen Witch, Elaina, hereby declare Xed as my one and only partner for life!"

Xed snickered a bit as Elaina pouted.

"What's so funny?!"

"I don't know if I should laugh at the fact that you took the title from the witch in "Adventures with Nikeh" or you're actually proposing to marry me than to be a travelling partner!"

Elaina blushed as her pout remained but Xed calmed himself.

"Well, I, Summoner Xed, accept 'the Ashen Witch', Elaina's proposal." Xed said overdramatically, but meant every word he said as a light surrounded them.
