'You're pretty much ready, kid. But you might want to learn more powerful tricks so that you can fully protect your "friend".'

Bendy said, gesturing him some air quotes. Xed rolled his eyes as he ignored his teasing.

"Can I at least address the letter I wrote to her? I already confessed to her with a letter when I was abducted, I want to at least ease her worries." Xed said to the demon as the latter nodded.

'No problemo, Xed. Gotta keep remembering to say that. Plus, I don't think you need to worry about her trying to find your letter. You should worry about explaining you being half-demon half-human now.'

Bendy gave him the news he wasn't fully human anymore and that was obvious to him when they started training. Xed hopes that Elaina wouldn't mind a demon companion.

Xed being half-demon had some quirks. He still aged like a human and Bendy told him that he can choose if he can die by old age or not. Others are abnormal regeneration and strength.

"Wait what do you mean by that first part you mentioned?"

Suddenly, Xed felt a magical pulse from outside the forest as he quickly hid his presence and Bendy went inside his body.

Turning into an ink puddle, he sped through the forest to see what that magical presence was.

As he saw the figure, he couldn't help but widen his eyes at the sight.

It was Elaina's mom, Victorica, riding her broom above the trees as she used some type of "search" magic across the forest to look for someone.

"I swore I felt a presence here..." He heard Victorica mutter as he sighed.

'I guess this was what Bendy meant.' He exerted some magical signature as he went out to the open field.

Noticing that, Victorica's broom shook.

"Yes, I know. I felt that too."

Victorica's broom flew fast, trying to catch up to the magical signature Xed was emitting.

'Woah! That broom is fast!'

'Yeah, I knew Elaina's mom was a powerful witch but I didn't expect her to be like this!'

He didn't feel scared though as he got out of the forest, to an open field and now fully showed his presence, but he didn't return to normal.

Xed was then trapped in a clear box made from magic as Victorica waved her wand while still riding her broom from a distance to be careful.

"Now that's a bit rude, isn't it?" Bendy took over as Xed let him and her talk it out.

"Can't be too careful, you're a demon after all," Victorica said in a matter-of-fact tone.

"For a witch who slew several demons and even befriended some, you won't need to worry about that."

Victorica's eyes narrowed at the information.

"Oh? And where did you hear that?"

"Some kid I've had the pleasure to meet. His name starts with an X, heard of 'em?"

Victorica reacted by widening the box as magic circles started to appear.

Bendy countered her magic by creating a tentacle with a blade, cutting the magic box and the magic circles.

"Woah there, girlie! Wouldn't it be smart of you to ask where I found a boy before killing me?" Bendy stayed in his ink puddle form as Victorica pointed her wand at him, ready to kill.
