I slipped my gas mask over my head, making sure the straps were secure.
"Get me a jar!" I called out in my Darth Vader timbre.
One of the soldiers, a tiny blond woman, ran up to me with a mason jar with an attached lid.
I snatched and ran to the door of the plane, leaping over the stairs and jogged into the airfield.
The monarch was resting on the wing on the plane. It didn't even budge as I creeped towards it and slammed the jar over it, encasing the butterfly in the jar.
I swiftly turned the jar over and closed the lid.
"What the Hell, Movlid?" Andersen hollered, stomped off the plane.
"We need to get this back to the lab." I said. I saw a big camouflage truck loaded with soldiers.
I sprinted to the door and flung it open.
"Take me to the Washington Fortress!" I commanded. By low vocals made me sound intimidating.
"Who do you think you-," the driver began.
"JUST. DO. IT!" I yelled.
The truck sped out of the airfield and into the city. I barely noticed the destruction of our national capital. All I was concerned with was the butterfly in my lap.
We drove in through the garage.
The workers, dressed in pearl white, tight clothing, instructed us to get out so they could hose us down with some sort of solution. Once they were done they injected each of us with a dose of the vaccine.
We all piled back into the freshly, hosed down truck.
The driver took us through a tunnel, specialized to sterilize the truck and everything in it, a second time. Once we were through the tunnel, we emerged in the second garage.
I busted out the door and ran into the Fortress hotel. Girida was mingling with the lady behind the front desk.
"You need to get this in the labs now!" I stammered, ignoring the unprofessionalism of the two. "I think this is the cause of the virus."
