Chp 3

It was almost evening. You made sure that the living room and bathroom were all tidy. Carmen cleaned the kitchen. You were a bit excited thinking that you'll be able to meet Taehyung.

The door knocked.

You opened. Jin and Namjoon standing. Dressed up casually in hoodies and jeans. Still looked good.

Jin greeted "hey princess! Well Tae didn't came. He's this way."

"Oh . Well, come on in."

You made an eye contact with Namjoon.

"Happy that you came", you exclaimed.

"It's always a pleasure meeting you , Y/N!"

Carmen came out of the kitchen and shouted out of excitement "my gosh! My eyes are really blessed now."

Jin laughed "mine are daily,since I got here."

You smiled at his admittance of being happy ,whenever he saw you.

They talked while you went in the kitchen to make coffee. Just after a few minutes, Jin came. He did nothing but observed you. You looked at him and passed a smile and then continued with your work. You opened the top cabinet, trying to grab a jar of coffee , tip-toed. Suddenly a hand came from behind and held the jar.

You turned around and to your surprise, Jin was so close to you. Just an inch away. Your eyes widened. He smiled.  You couldn't help but smile back at him.

The next moment, both of you moved away. Realizing that this was way too fast.

While having coffee, Carmen asked "what do you guys do for earning?"

Jin laughed "born rich!"

You were surprised . If they were rich, why would they be living in such a casual place? You tried to believe him since, you wanted to become friends with them.

"I see",you muttered.

" We are like friends from childhood. Families, are business people so they don't pay attention to their kids. So,  we live together. Help out each other.",said Namjoon, clarifying.

"That's so cool. I and Y/N are like this as well." , Carmen uttered.

All of you played a game of chess. You were still wondering about Taehyung. They left quite after a time. You locked the door and went on with your work. You had a case the next day, so you prepared for it.

You won the case. But the hell out of  you was tired.
It was almost dark when you stepped out of your work place.

Streching your arms and legs, you walked on the footpath. All you thought about was reaching home quickly and throwing yourself down on your bed.

Most of the street lights were off. All you could here was dogs barking at a distance and the sounds that your heels made as you walked.

Suddenly, someone touched your shoulder.

You stopped breathing.

You slowly turned around.

"It was you. I almost had a heart attack!", you uttered.

It was the same black-haired hot guy.

"Are you pretending to trust me? Don't you remember what I said last time?", he whispered.

"Barking dogs seldom bite!"

"Test me then!"

"Stop scaring me or else I'll scream at the top of my voice!"
