Chp 23

You were really tired and hungry after work. Your stomach was growling. Since you left staying with Kims, you had not been eating properly. Your life was harshly disturbed. It was the first time ever that you were living on your own. You wished to find a new room mate but finally , you declared that it was better to stay this way instead of letting some stranger live at your place.

You got up and tidied your table and headed home. As you stepped out, you met Jin who was leaning against the wall, waiting for you. The happiness that you felt, cannot be explained.

You ran near him and exclaimed "Jin! I love your handsome face!"

Jin winked at you. "Ah. We were missing you alot. Come let's go home. Taehyung will drop you home in the evening."

You held his shoulder and both of you began walking.

"Y/N just got weak!"he sighed.

"It's only been two days."

"I mean it , Y/N. Always go with the flow and do what your heart desires."

"What if I desire something wrong?"

"I know what you desire and it's not a wrong thing!"

"Yeah. I'll try. Well. Thanks for sending the grocery. "

"What grocery?"

"C'mon . At least let me thank you."

"Did you banged your head last night?"

"Yeah, kind of. I was kidding you know. It's just nothing."

How'd V knew that I needed those things?

The rest of the walk was silent. Since that confusion was teasing you. As you reached there, Namjoon said "Hi, Y/N! How you doing?"

"Where's V?"

"Okay.... um. In his room."

You rushed in without permission. He was leaning on that rocking chair, eyes tightly closed as if he was thinking something or reminding some bad memory. He opened his one eye and glanced at you and quickly stood up. He shruged his shoulders and said "oh. Manners are really a joke, I guess."

"What did you do last night?"

"Should I tell you? Okay. Your door was unlocked and dang that room where you were lying unconscious. That freaking door was locked and when I yelled out your name, nobody responded and then I used my delicate shoulder , which is still aching and then when I came in and saw you and then-" he was blabbering and then he suddenly stopped.

You raised your eyebrows, telling him to explain further. He shouted "you told me to act as a friend!"

You gave an ironic grin and bit your lip. "I thought you were nak-"

"I wasn't! I only took off my shirt."

"Why did you? Do friends do?"

"Yeah. No. I mean , you were being froze to death!"

"Why did you cared?"

"Because you are- you were - my girl!"his voice suddenly lowered.

Your eyes bent down . "Fine . And now I'm not. So stop making me confused. I can't live in two kind of situations! You tell me to take a break and then care for me like we're still together! Tell me, what am I supposed to do?" You sounded pretty serious.

"I'm sorry",he muttered, "I couldn't afford keeping my words this time. Forgive me for this."

"Frick! What does that mean? Tell me that you'll stop worrying about me!"

" I don't know. "

" Taehyung! I've cleared all situations in my head. End this break thing. Let's just get over with this. "

" What should I do?"

"Saturday! You must answer my every question and I'll answer yours. And then you tell me whatever you want to do with me . I'm leaving this last decision on you. And I'm not asking. It's my command. I quit obeying you Taehyung!"

You said this and turned around to open the door. And as you pulled it, you saw startled Jin and Namjoon, who were suspected to be eavesdropping. They became shocked and frightened as they saw you angry. Namjoon smacked Jin and blabbered "Jin hyung. What were you doing! I was just passing by and saw you-"

"Y/N, what a liar is Joon. He told me to stay calm and eavesdrop with him. You beleive me right?",Jin trying emotional blackmailing , almost made you chuckled.

You gave them an angry look. And pressed your lips together. You said " seriously guys?"

You had lunch with them and then urged Jin to send you home because you needed to prepare for the case. He asked Taehyung. You said as you heard his name "I'll go myself. Since I left walking so I became extremely lazy. Bye guys. "

You had decided to quit interaction with Taehyung until Saturday. Saturday, for you was like " Nothing or everything "

You were really hopeful and anxious. However, you were happy that finally all this confusion will be sorted out. You went back home and this time, you made sure to lock the door.

You studied the case thoroughly because you were just determined to work very hard and bear your own burden. You worked for about hours and went to bed quite late.

You won the case. Now you had plenty of money for the next few weeks . Until then, you'll find some other case. You went out for shopping. Bought plenty of things of your need. You came home by bus and unlocked your door. You came inside and turned the lights on and just as you did this, someone ran outside your main door in to the street. Just as you saw this, you ran after him.

You followed him in to the quiet streets. Almost unconcerned about your safety and completely dependant upon your taek-won-do skills.

You reached him and turned him around. As he faced you, you found him pointing a gun at your head . You didn't startled. Not even for a moment.

I must take care of myself and of my affairs. This is my game and I must play it!.

You kicked his hand. Your reaction was quick enough to cause the gun in his hand to drop on the road. Then you punched his face with all your might.

He landed on the footpath. You sat down and your hands covered his throat. You realized that you were attempting to choke him. Your grip on his neck loosened a bit .

Yes. I'm a dangerous woman.

You yelled on his face "who the heck are you? Who the fricking sent you?"

"You think I'll tell you?"he smiled ironically.

You slapped his face with your palm.
"Bloody, tell me!"

"I won't!"

You were convinced that he was not a theif because he had stollen nothing. You were sure that he was someone related to Kai .

"I know the name of your boss! Kai! Ain't he?"

He laughed. "You can't kill me. And you know it."

"Yes. I can't. At least, you reminded me that I should be careful from now on. "

You choked him again, making him faint and not dead. Then you called your prosecutor. He was an expert in making people let out secrets easily. He took him with him and you went home.

You checked your stuff thoroughly. Luckiky, you were just on time. He wasn't able to take away anything. Even your important files were in place. It felt that he broke in just when you came.

It was pure luck.

You needed someone now. You can't live alone now. But you can't bother your friends anymore as well. You were worried.

Sorry for a short chapter. Since I'm taking my exams so it's really difficult to manage everything.
