for you get have character development & to make a character you need to KNOW your character.
ask yourself some questions about your character. you should be able answer them with at least 1-2 sentences.
1. what would make/break your character?
2. what's the worst thing in your characters life?
3. what's the best thing in your characters life?
4. what is something that your character would drag out and/or make a scene about in public?
5. how many friends does your character have? how does your character act around each one of them?
6. how does your character feel about sex?
7. what is your character flaws?
8. what does your character pretend/try to care about?
9. how does the image your character tries to project differ from the image they actually project?
10. what are your characters major flaws?
11. what are insignificant memories your character cannot remove from their head?
12. what does your characters reluctant tell people?
13. what is something your character will not let go of? (memories, aritfacts, traditions, or theories etc etc..)
you can also do pros and cons about your character.
