One staff heard a laugh in the distant corner in the basement - where there were machines to operate the great hall. The staff walked towards the place where sound came, and saw Brian Unit, the stage supervisor. He was laughing with his friend, holding a coffee in his hand.
"I say," said Mr. Unit, laughing, "You will get captured and killed by the Ghost, I tell you - like this!"
Then he hit his friend's neck.
"Ow!" His friend cried out. Mr. Unit laughed, and soon, his friend began to laugh out loud, too.
Mrs. Velcon's POV
Mr. Tale and Ms. Alen walked towards me in the hallway of 3rd floor, where there were technical settings in each doors - and chairs...
They walked towards me, and we met - then they held me out a piece of paper."Mrs. Velcon, you must read this."
I held it out, and relized the signature "OG" in the letter. Yes, it was the "Ghost". I read it out loud:
Dear my Managers,
Christine Lara has got well - she will continue her contribution tomorrow afternoon - where her first new solo will be played. I am giving you my music score that I have been composed for few years. I hope you will accept my score - if not, you shall see...
O.G.
"And this is the music score." said Ms. Alen, handing up the music score to me. I got it and read the title;
'Piccolo of the Night'
"He is out of mind, I'm sure!" shouted Mr. Tale, "Forcing us to do whatever he wants?"
"You must accept his instructions," I said - but I think it was not me who really said these words.
"But why?" shouted Ms. Alen.
When Ms. Alen finished her words, I heard a loud scream coming from the basement. My legs carried me down the stairs to the basement entrace - and then I saw the tragic scene.
Back to Narration
Mrs. Velcon opened the door, and saw two men flopped down onto the floor. There was a red liquid around them. A Staff was pointing towards the two men, shaking all over. Mrs. Velcon, the managers, the conductor, and Raoul went into the room.
"They...They were killed by the shadow!" A staff said, shaking her voice, "They were talking about Jokes of the Ghost, and soon they were killed!"
"That is why," said Mrs. Velcon, turning to the managers, "I asked you to accept the instructions."
---------
The managers accepted the instructions.
There was nothing they could do to stop the Ghost's threat.Mr. Brick saw the score and threw it to the floor, screaming out loud. The members saw their sheets, and looked puzzled. Then their eyes went straight to Christine Lara's sheet.
"There is only piccolo's part!" Mr. Brick shouted.
Yes, it was.
Christine's sheet was full of dots and lines, while others had simple notes."I can't do this," Christine muttered between her teeth.
Mr. Brick turned to Mrs. Velcon nearby.
"Why do we need to perform this horrible music in the regular concert?"
"You seen him killed," said Mrs. Velcon, quietly.
Mr. Brick didn't said anything. He slowly raised his wand, and slowly started the music.
It was strange music, indeed.
All the members and those who listened it shivered. The managers frowned. Mr. Brick patiently went on. Then the busy solo of piccolo came. She blew well - there were flats and sharps, but she blew exactly of those flats. When the score was over, Mr. Brick told the members to rest, went out of the rehersal room, and screamed out loud.
