I thought everyone's parents did this
I couldn't identify the abuse.
I was a little girl. You should've known better,
than to lay your hands on someone who knows your secrets.
Those nights when you would go out late and come home on the couch with girls when mom was asleep?
The drinking?
The hitting?
Did you really think I would forget?
I forgive you. I always will.
But I will never forget the hell you put me through.
