Part 4

The time stopped for me as I saw her.... an innocent face... lit up by an ever so charmistic smile that I couldn't take my eyes off her..... I was shamelessly staring at her..... Her deep black eyes, milky skin, pinkish plump lips, her silky long hair blowing away in random directions due to the wind..... Oh my god, Kartik!!!! What are you doing??.... You have lost your memory not your senses and character.... Stop staring at her like that..... I scolded myself.

I saw her coming towards us.... I mean me and my friends.... That's when John noticed her and said ' Oh Naira!!...come'. So, her name was Naira... Nice name.... I thought as she greeted everyone and took a seat....near me..... I was feeling nice that she sat near.... Ok .... I accept it was because there was no other place for her to sit.... But still I somewhere felt nice about it and passed a smile to her as she looked towards me and reciprocated it warmly.....  Wow!!!! She's so pretty and looks even pretty when she smiles... I admired her beauty within my mind..... I was continuosly thinking about her while staring her... Thankfully noone saw me gazing her otherwise it would have been really embarrasing for me but then Charles started speaking something, breaking my chain of thoughts and I realised what I was doing and immediately shifted my gaze towards him and started listening him....

'So Kartik, meet Naira.... She was my schoolmate and has come here as a tourist, so I asked her to stay with us for the time she's here.....' Charles informed me....

'GREAT!!'  I shouted, not being able to keep my excitement to myself anymore and forgetting my surroundings..... As soon as I shouted that (don't ask me why I shouted that) everyone's head turned towards me..... Sara looked at me, I could easily make out from her expressions that she was in no mood to skip this golden opportunity to take her revenge from me for teasing her and John,....... and I was right............... She raised her eyebrows and passed on a smirk to me, saying  'why are you so happy about her staying here Kartik?'

I was at loss of words and started scratching the back of my head while lowering it in embarrassment.

'Woh.... umm.... actually....'  I stuttered as the curiosity on their faces grew....

' I need to go to the washroom...' I said quickly and hurriedly ran from their and I could hear them bursting into fits of laughter.....

I reached my room and locked the door,

' Oh god Kartik!! What's wrong with you can't you just keep your this idiotic mouth shut for sometime...huh!?..... What will Naira be thinking about me?? I behaved so stupid down there...(he pouted)....uff!! Why am I thinking about her only!!! Stop it Kartik!!! Urghhh!!!.....' 

After sometime, he went to bed, being tired of doing a lot of unsuccessful attempts to stop thinking about Naira!!😂😂
