A few days later in the morning,

Kartik was sitting in the garden, sipping his coffee and thinking about his life. He wanted to get his memory back and learn about how he was earlier. He wanted to share his feelings with someone that how desperately he wanted to recall his life before the accident, the accident that changed his life!!

He sighed as he knew he can't share his feelings with anyone cuz they would get tensed and sad for and he didn't want that to happen. Already they were taking a lot of efforts to make him recollect his past memories and tried their level best to not make him feel sad or disappointed by not recalling anything.

He was lost in his thoughts but suddenly someone kept their hand on his shoulder. He turned back and saw a person who makes his heart flutter with joy............NAIRA.

Kartik's POV

I was sitting on the bench and again wondering about my past, whenever I am free this is what comes first to my mind, I just can't help it!!

I can't stop thinking about it and getting upset but suddenly I felt a soft touch on my shoulder, I turned only to be encountered by the most mesmerising view, Naira standing there with a coffee mug in her hand, no makeup, still looking gorgeous as always! My heart always starts dancing with joy seeing her, she never misses to mesmerize me with her beauty and charm.

She came in front and sat beside me. "What are u thinking?" She asked me and I don't know why, I felt a great comfort by her soothing voice. I felt as if I can tell her anything and she will listen to me without judging me or laughing at me. She always makes me feel like I know her since a long time.

I decided to share my feelings with her and told her whatever I had been thinking, I literally poured out all the emotions in my heart in front of her and she listened to it very calmly.

As Kartik finished speaking, she held his hand and gently squeezed it while giving him an assuring look, she said, "I know u don't remember ur past, but at least u can live the present to the fullest! Don't let go of these present moments while thinking about something that wasn't in ur hands! I know it might me difficult for u but at least u can try and make new memories and talking about it past, I am sure one day, you will definitely get ur memory back! Trust me!!" She said with an assuring smile and I couldn't help but stare at her with affection, we just met each other and still she understands me so well and comforts me so nicely!! I just love the way she made me understand this and showed genuine concern for me.

We went inside and had a chit chat session with others, but all I was interested was in admiring her, I was feeling a totally new feeling inside my heart, only for her.

After 2 weeks,

In this period of time, Kartik realized that his feelings for Naira were not just mere attraction, he was actually falling head over heels in love with her, their bond started growing stronger with each passing day and so did his love for her, every day he would fall more for her innocence, caring and humble nature. He wanted to share his feeling with someone and decide weather he should propose her or not, he needed someone to help him but whom is what he was not sure of.

He was sitting on his bed involved in his thoughts about this, that suddenly he felt a tap on his shoulder and turned to see Emma with a concerned look on her face. She sat beside him and asked him what was he thinking.

That's when it struck him, he could share his feeling with Emma!

She was like an elder sister to him and he knew she would never give him wrong advice and the cherry on the cake was that she's a girl so maybe she can help him know what Naira thinks about him, he thought.

'I wanted to tell u something!!' He said finally after thinking for a long time.

She kept her hand on his shoulder indicating him to go on.

He started speaking as he breathed in a lot of air, "I LOVE NAIRA!!"

His eyes were closed while speaking this and as he opened his eyes, he saw her being all shocked by his confession, he did see this coming but what he saw her doing next was definitely something that made him confused as hell.

She starting laughing hard holding her stomach and he made faces seeing her laugh so much.

"Now why are u laughing?" He asked irritated

"U are such a dumbo!!" She said still laughing

He puffed and glared her and she stopped laughing and said, "If u love her then tell this to her, not me u idiot!" She said.

"But what if she doesn't love me" he said with a slight sadness in his voice making her go serious. "What if she only considers me as her friend and nothing else, I first want to know her feelings too!" He said letting out his worries.

She smiled at him and cupped his face, telling him, "There's no chance of her not loving a sweet and innocent soul like u! Just be confident, have faith in ur love and tell her about ur feelings for her! I am sure that she also loves u, she might or might not have realized it but the way she looks at u, cares for u and tries to make u feel good all the time show her love for u!!"

His face lit up, hearing her and a smile crept on his face. She was indeed an elder sister for him who would make fun of him and tease him but also help him and guide him when he needs her.

He hugged her and thanked her for making him understand this. She left the room while saying, "ok so now u start thinking of a way to propose Naira!! I am going!" She said with a teasing smile.

He blushed at the thought of the proposal and she went went out laughing on his antics.
