Into The Past

Part 6

Kartik POV

I was eating my food while stealing glances of her in between whenever I got a chance to do so.....

I was just lost in her, she was attracting me towards herself in a very unique way.... Her eyes are so captivating, they are the most beautiful thing I have ever seen in my life, it seems as if they cast some sort of a magical spell on me and me being bound by the spell, gets lost in her attractive eyes.....

Her smile seems as the most precious thing to me ever, I have a lot of precious and valuable things with me in this house but everything feels to be inferior when compared to her smile.

I saw her turning her head towards me...maybe she felt my gaze on her and I instantly turned my face around and started to have my food, I didn't want her to realise that I was staring at her, all over again and make any bad impression of mine on her or make her fell embarrased in front of everyone because of me again....... But why do I care for her so much and why do I even keep staring at her or thinking of her all the time???..... I was confused and indulged deeply in my cogitation so much that I didn't even realise that George was calling me for quite some time, to which I ofcourse wasn't replying, owing to my introspection, until Naira shook me bringing me out of my thoughts.... Everyone was giving me questioning looks, ofcourse they would as they were tensed for me cuz sometimes I do this, trying to remember my past but today I was not pondering about my past but about my feelings and this unknown pull that I was feeling towards Naira.... I just passed them an assuring smile and then we all started chit chatting about some random topics while eating our food....

I was leaning on to the headboard of my king sized bed staring the aesthetic blue walls of my room, adorned with my pics along with my friends, with a blank expression on my face.....

I was wondering how my life has taken a full circle, I don't know anything about the life which I had led till now, it feels so frustrating that I practically know nothing about myself or my life and I don't know if I'll ever be able to recollect my memories....

One thing that really disturbs me is my family..... I mean I don't even know if I have a family.... I asked them but they would always divert the topic.... Am I an orphan or it's something alse?.... They would never tell me anything about that..... It's not like I don't trust them, I know they all really care for me, it's just that I am way too curious to find out about my past......

My thoughts were intrupted by the sound of opening the door, I groaned and turned my face with an uninterested look but that was soon vanished as I was captivated by the most beautiful pair eyes...

"Did I disturb u??" She said with a calm voice....

"No no! Not at all!!" I said as I passed on a smile to her...

"U can never disturb me!!" I mumurred under my breath and then asked her to come in....

"Actually everyone was sleeping but I couldn't, I was going out for a walk when I saw that ur room's light is still on, so I thought we can talk to each other and maybe know each other more...cuz I know most of them except u" she said to me with a smile

Oh god!! She wants to talk to me, this made me so happy, but why?? I asked myself but soon leaving my thoughts aside, we started talking.....

I felt really comfortable with her, she's so nice....

Oh god!!! Am I falling for her??

I offered her if she wants to go out for a walk, she nodded and we went out in the lawn.....
