Chapter 8: The Hug (Yugo x Zuzu Boyle)

"ZUZU!" shouted Yugo, running fast to Zuzu Boyle.

"AHHHH! Stop it! Yugo! I don't want your hugs!" Zuzu ran away from him in the room at his home. "I don't want you touching me. My heart only belongs to one. And that's Yuya!"

"Hey! Wait! Come on! We've never hugged before!" Yugo constantly chased Zuzu in circles around the room.

"I know! And I'm not Rin!"

"But you look exactly like her too. You remind me of Rin-Rin, in a good way. Looking at you in your eyes gives me a warm feeling of joy that reminds me of happiness and love. Which I want to hold on to. To hug.... To cherish deeply in my heart. And that I don't want to ever let go of!" said Yugo.

"Ha! Gotcha!" Yugo trapped Zuzu because she was standing against a wall near a corner. "There's no escaping me or my hugs now. Come here, Zuzu! Let me love you with my open arms!"

He put his hands and arms up in the air, preparing to hug her.

"N-no!" Zuzu declined his hugging request. "Never! You will never take me alive!"

"Come on, Zu." said Yugo. "It's just a hug. It's not like, it's the end of the whole world. You know? It's not a big deal."

"Yeah, it is. Well, to me." said Zuzu.

"Plus, I haven't felt any sense of joy from anyone in such a long time. Not ever since Rin-Rin got taken away and those other disastrous events that have happened to all of us Lancers and duelists from different dimensions. It just hasn't been the same for me. I feel lonely. I feel empty in my heart. But you bring me joy whenever you're by my side mostly. And I want to keep on feeling that with you." said Yugo.

He had a hint of sadness sparkles that flashed in his blue eyes. "Please, Zuzu. All I'm asking for is just one hug. Just one. To take away all my worries and burdens. And to be reminded of the overwhelming feeling of pure-joy, happiness, and love that you bring out of yourself... That I feel in your pink aura and energy that you give off. When you're with me. That's all I ask for. It's not too much for me to ask." he had his hands on top of Zuzu's shoulders.

"Yugo. I didn't know you felt so much pain that overwhelms you and makes you sad." Zuzu's eyes glittered with concern in a natural state. "And that I am the closest thing that you have that brings you joy. I didn't know that my presence and energy made you feel an inner happiness within you to cheer you up, when you're down. That's very sweet of you to say that about me."

She giggled. "Fine. I give up. I will let you have one hug. Since, I can see that you're just a big-softy. Just like my Yuya is." she blushed happily.

"Thanks, Zuzu." Yugo grinned. Then he hugged Zuzu tightly in a soft way. "Woah, you're so warm." he guffawed. "Man, I feel so loved now. This is such a healing hug."

"O-okay." said Zuzu. "Yugo. I think that's enough." she said. "I told you, just one hug. Remember? That's what we both promised and agreed on. Together? Right?"

"Yeah, yeah. I know." Yugo was getting comfortable hugging Zuzu against the wall. "Lemme just get one more hug. Just a little longer. It just feels so great. I want more." He caressed her pink-tied hair and embraced the hug even more. "Mmm, your hair smells like strawberries." he sniffed her hair.

"Yugo." Zuzu was losing her cool. She wasn't having it. She had blown her angry fuse. "I told you. I said, that's enough!" she took out her white fan and whacked him on the head with it (which ended the hug).

"Ow!" Yugo said, patting his head from the fan's attack. "You're so mean." he teased, with his eyes being a little teary-eyed. "Man."

He chuckled again and with a bright smile, he said, "You're just like Rin-Rin. All right. Okay, I'll stop it now. As you wish, Zuzu. I won't overstep your boundaries next time. Got that?"

"Hmph!" Zuzu rolled her eyes, being annoyed at him. "Yeah. Well, you better!" She raised her fan up to Yugo in a threatening way to scare him and to force him to listen to her.

"AHHH!" Yugo screamed in fear. He sweatdropped, being nervous that she was mad at him while still holding up her fan. "Okay. Okay. I promise for real this time. You can stop now."
