It had been so long, since Zuzu knew that all hope was lost. Yuya was never coming back. She had to face the truth of it. But she didn't want to. "Yuya." she said to herself, while looking down at her bracelet.

The same went for Yugo with trying to save his beloved friend Rin-Rin. He had given up on saving her since she had vanished away out of existence. And had passed away from the Project that the Professor had created in the past. "Rin-Rin." he said in defeat. "I wish you were always with me, by my side. I miss you."

"Yugo. What's wrong? Why the sad face?" asked Zuzu, seeing him sad.

"It's just that I miss Rin." said Yugo. "I wish that I could see her face again. Why are you sad too? I can see it in your eyes, Zuzu. What are you upset about?"

"The same goes for me. I can relate to how you're feeling. I sure miss Yuya. He was my best friend." said Zuzu, walking in front of Yugo. "But they're both gone." she cried.

"Yes, they are. But they're still in our hearts. And we have to move on from them." said Yugo, hugging Zuzu in a hug to comfort her. "It's okay. I'm here for you, Zuzu. You can cry and let it all out."

Zuzu sobbed. "Yugo, I miss Yuya. I really wish that he was here. I never got to tell him how I really feel."

"The same with me and Rin-Rin." Yugo gently patted her back. "There, there. Everything will be alright."

It had been some months and the two of them seemed not to get sad over the losses of Yuya and Rin-Rin. Zuzu still lived with Yugo in his home. But in the process, Yugo had discovered that he had caught feelings for Zuzu. Which was something that he wouldn't expect to happen.

He would always get shy and start stuttering a lot when he was around Zuzu. And he would start blushing a lot. It was even hard for him to try to form any complete sentences with his stuttering problem.

He couldn't help it. He fell for Zuzu so much and he thought that she was so beautiful that the sight of her took his breath away. And he would get so nervous speaking to her.

"I can't believe that I like Zuzu. Zuzu Boyle," Yugo said to himself while he was alone in his room. "Ohh. What do I do? I really want to tell her how I feel about her. But I don't think it's the right thing to do. Because, what if....she's still not over him? What if, she still has her heart set on Yuya Sakaki? Even though, he's gone. I'm not sure if she has moved on from him. And I don't want to ruin my friendship with her."

Zuzu felt flustered, not knowing and not understanding why Yugo would act that way around her. "Why does Yugo act that way when he's around me? I haven't seen him been calm in such a long time. Could help be hiding something from me? And he's been acting super goofy lately."

She was becoming suspicious of Yugo's actions. "I think something is up with him. And I am going to find out what!" she said to herself, as she was standing alone in Rin-Rin's room. "Something just isn't adding up with him."

Yugo was fixing something mechanical with his wrench. "Yugo. We need to talk."

"Oh... Hey there, Zuzu." said Yugo, hearing Zuzu's voice. He stopped what he was doing and looked up, "What's up?'

"Look. There's something that I want to ask you about." said Zuzu. "Right away. That I'm curious of."

"Yeah, sure. Go on ahead."

"Well..." Zuzu thought first what she was going to say, then said it. "Yugo. I was wondering..."

"Yes?" Yugo was blushing.

"Why do you act so weird and goofy when you're around me all the time? Why do you get nervous and shy? Why do you avoid me? You never seem relaxed with you're with me? I haven't really seen you calm in so long. That it makes me worried about you." Zuzu then broke down into tears. "Do you.. not like me hanging out with you? Do you hate me? Is that why you avoid me and act like this? What are you hiding from me? That you don't want me to know about? I don't get it, Yugo."

She then covered her face with her hands. "Please. Give me an answer. I don't want you to ignore me anymore." she wiped her tears away. "I just want you to acknowledge me. That's all I ever ask of you."

"Zuzu!" Yugo ran up to Zuzu, wrapping his arms around her, making her hug his chest. "I'm sorry for the confusion and pain that I put you through with that. You deserve an honest answer from me and the truth about how I feel."

"Huh? How you feel? What do you even mean by that--"

"Zuzu. I don't hate you. I never could, whether you remind me of Rin-Rin or not. The real reason that I act weird, goofy, and shy around you... And why I act distant from you is because I really like you. Your presence and seeing the wonderful sight of you. It leaves me speechless. It takes my breath away. It makes me feel like I am so deeply mesmerized by a melody's tune. Except that you are the tune that zooms right through that melody. My heart starts beating so much like a single note, when I'm close by you." confessed Yugo, who was blushing on his cheeks. "It starts singing to me with my emotions."

"I'm a melody that plays in your heart strings?" Zuzu was amazed by the deep choice of words that Yugo had chosen to express how he feels about her. "And you like me?"

"When I realized the moment that I felt this way about you. I felt like I couldn't tell you. I didn't want to risk it ruining whatever we had going on. And I mostly didn't tell you because I was afraid that you might or might not have still had feelings for Yuya. I wasn't sure if you had let go of him or not. I also didn't want to upset you."

"Yugo." Zuzu blushed."I wasn't aware that was why you acted that way around me. Which now adds up. And, I get it now. I understand that you didn't want to hurt me. And it's okay. I have actually learned over time to let go of Yuya. So, there's no harm done. I say, you did the same for Rin?"

"Oh.. that's such a huge relief off of my chest." said Yugo, breaking the hug with him and Zuzu. "Yes. You could say that. I am doing alright with it too. Actually, I did move on from Rin-Rin. So, we're both on the same page here."

"That's good to know, Yugo. I know that moving on from someone isn't as easy at first. It takes time."

"Yes, it does. And Zuzu. I like being around you so much. I mostly like your presence. Your sense of energy. You always brighten my day. That's what I mostly like about you." Yugo said at last.

He patted Zuzu's pink-haired head. "Now that I got that out of the way. Does that mean that we can date now? I mean, if you want to. It's your choice. No pressure, pink."

"Sure." Zuzu felt herself blushing. She suddenly felt herself wanting more with Yugo. "Why not?" she cutely giggled with her eyelashed eyes closed, adding a smile to her face. "I mean. I have started to take a liking to you too, Yugo."
