"James?"

"No its Dora the explorer."
I embrace him tightly in a warm hug.

"I missed you so much!"

I pulled away slightly from the embrace. "I thought you were supposed to be gone till November?"
I said.

"No they let me come home early. Enough about me how are you?"

I shrugged.
He spoke: "I heard about the funeral and baby addition. How are they?"

"They're good!!" I say my voice rung with happiness instead of the sadness of my situation.

"Here come in I'll introduce you to them." He follows me into the house. And up the carpeted steps to the twins room.

"Wow this place is nice."

I chuckle. Everything was 'nice' to Jamie.

We were up the stairs and around the corner. Entering the twin's room. "Jo Jo and Theo meet your cousin James."

Journey stood up and rushed to Jamie. She was always the people person. Compared to Theo who kept to himself mostly. Just like dad. He and mom were night and day just like Theo and Jojo.

Just thinking about their similarities to my parents brought me to near tears. I missed my ma more than I thought. More than i wanted to.

Theo eventually joined Jojo in the group hug.

"Sweet cheeks? You ready?" I looked up to find Kaz in a blue dress shirt and a solid black tie. You could tell the look didn't quite fit his personality. But he still managed to pull it off.

"Yes."

He took his piercing blue eyes away from my black and sky blue knee high dress to, James.

"Who's this?'' He asked a fake smile was plastered on his face.

"James this is Kaz my boyfriend. Kaz this is James my cousin."

Kaz's face easily transactions to one of his genuine smirks. "Nice to meet you." James says.

Kaz nods in agreement. "Viv are you ready?"

James takes on my appreal. "Vivian I'm sorry. Did I catch you at a bad time?"

I shake my head.

"No not at all." I say.
Kaz clears his throat.

"Actually..."
I cut him off.

"We didn't have anything but a movie at home planned. How long are you staying?" I ask.

"A few weeks." He says shooting me a worried glance.

"OK."

"I'll be right back. Stay and chat with the twins."

"OK."

I took Kaz's hand and lead him to my room.

"What the fvck Viviana?" He bursts with anger as I closed the door.

I knew he was pissed since he used my whole name.

"Kaz look he's family and I want to spend time with him."

He sighs. "I understand that Vivian but our anniversary is tomorrow. "

I try to hold in my gasp. I hadn't realized that it was so close with the kids and stuff I barely remebered anything.

"You forgot didn't you?" He asks.

"Babe." I say while approaching his warmly lit body.

"I'm sorry OK..."

".... Viv that's not how it works. You've been saying that for months. Saying that every single time doesn't change anything. Viv you gotta stop. Let someone else have the responsiblity."

I stand inches from his body. He was cute when he was mad. His hair was ruffled and his shirt and tie was loosened now.
I sigh.

"Kaz you and I both know that I can't just stop taking care of the people I love. "

"That's just me, that's what I do. I take care of everyone else and that's how its always gonna. Be I can't stop that."

"And that's something you knew when you decided to be in this relationship. I'm sorry if I'm not the girl you fell in love with. I probably never will be again. "

I smile as tears slide down my cheeks. Hot and fast.

"But that's just me."
He looks at me.

"Well I guess I don't love you enough to fight for this relationship. "

I stand there as my heart breaks.
He walks past me. Bumping my shoulder in the process.

Over my shoulder I shout.
"And your just another Jake. You've become everything you said you wouldn't. "

"Even when I break your heart your first thought is him."

I stand there looking at the guy I love walk out yet again.
