Two months later......

Vivian's P.O.V

"Happy Birthday to you!" The crowd sang, finishing the all so famous chorus. I was smiling from ear to ear.

"Thank you guys so much!" I shout to the group of people outside my home. Many were gathered here because today was my 20th birthday. I was ecstatic that the Lord blessed me with another year. I wished that my mother and father were here but I know that if they could've they would've. That thought warmed my body as I walked to the kitchen.

"You enjoying yourself, baby?" Kaz wraps his arms around me

"You enjoying yourself, baby?" Kaz wraps his arms around me. I ease myself out of his arms, reaching into the refrigerator.

"Yeah, everything is nice." I respond while grabbing some nacho cheese for the chips.

"You okay?" He asks. I had become distant because of the dishonest story he had told me. Two months ago he had told me he was with Jessica because he needed some bread. But by the looks of it he was getting some bread. My conjecture wasn't good enough. I had my suspension but no evidence, so I didn't act upon it, but I kept my distance.

"I'm fine, Lukas." I say. I watch as his jaw tightens, because of the use of his first name. The party was growing in numbers as the party was getting started. My cousins and family were here and i needed to catch up. But of course Kaz wanted to talk.

"Vivian tell me what's up." His strong British accent made me weak in the knees. It was surprising that I could even understand him with it.

"Nothing is up, Lukas. Could you heat the cheese up? I need to say hello to the guests." I tell him, while gesturing to the items. I walk past him when he doesn't say anything. As I make my way to the screen door, he grabs my wrist pulling me to his toned chest.

He knows I hate when he pulls me to him. I sigh, while trying to detach myself from him. "Let go of me Kaz."

"Vivian just talk to me." He pleads.

"There's nothing to talk about." I reply nonchalantly. I see my cousin Havana through the glass and pull away from Kaz. But he just tightens his grip.

"Kaz let me go!" I shout, mad now. He was being ridiculous. I wanted to talk to my family and he was being childish.

"Please can we just talk? It'll be quick." He asks.
