"Your playing, right?" I ask.
She scrunches up her eyebrows.
"Not at all." She replies.
"Okay, first off, your way too young. 19? What did Aunt Maelyn have to say about it? I'm certain she doesn't agree." I say expressing my discomfort.
"I haven't told her, yet." She states slightly bashful.
"Ya know I'm looking out for you." I tell her.
"Really, you surely didn't care about my feelings, when you went out with him, and I wasn't over him!" She screams.
I'm silent. "And that was a mistake Harvy. I don't want you to make the same one that I did."
"Whatever, Vivian." She grabs Logan's hand about to leave.
"Havana, do you not know what's he's been doing? How long have you been going out?" I ask, before she could leave.
"A year."
"Exactly. And already he isn't being honest."
"What do you mean?" She asks, puzzled, Logan's eyes bulge out of his head.
"I'm guessing he didn't tell you. I heard him on the phone talking to another female. And it sure as heck wasn't you." I tell her.
"Is this true Logan?" She asks.
"Babe that's when we were on break and i-"
"On break?! Did you see me flocking to other men? No I stayed loyal. I can't believe you." She yells.
"Havana listen-"
"No, I'm done Logan for good this time." She finishes.
She runs into my house, crying along the way. I sigh look at the mess I caused. Yeah she just stopped a mistake from happening between them but that's not the best way to let her know. My inner self was just unrecognizable in this state. With the upcoming marriage, Journey and Theo. It's a toll, a really big one that I'm so tired of carrying.
I leave a dazed Logan to check on Harvy. I walk through the living room to the bathroom where she would most likely be. She was dabbing at her make up when I found her. Her tears still pouring.
"I'm sorry Harvy. I didn't mean to burst your happy bubble like that." I pronounce my words clearly and carefully.
"It's okay, Vivian. I should've known. A player is a player. I shouldn't have expected more." She voices.
I shush her. "You deserve better. And you'll get better. God will deliver." She smiles.
"Yeah he will."

This is a filler Chapter.
Next chapter will have a time jump.
A month or so. And this book has 4 more chapters til it ends!
