Natalie- ( looks at her from her position behind the receptionist desk in her fathers shop) so you and Brent a thing now?
Layla- ( looks up at her then down at her stack of papers) me and brent?... I have no clue what we are.
Natalie- ( rolls her eyes) you two work together now. I see the looks you two give eachother.. they aren't looks two people who hate each other are supposed to look at one another.. so tell me.
Layla- ( sighs and gives her an annoyed look ) he called me his girl the other day.. and I didn't correct him ( bites her lip putting away the last of the files before walking back to her chair beside Natalie and sits down) he infuriates me to the point I could kill him.. but there are times when all I want to do is hold him..
Natalie- do you.. want to be his girl.
Layla- ( swallows looking at the door towards the shop. Roger, Brent and now Kai all work in the garage she didn't even know he knew how to work on cars) maybe.. yes I do. ( clears her throat and grabs her coffee)
Natalie- ( raises an eyebrow)
Layla- but it couldn't work between us, he has his life and I have mine.. two different lives..
Natalie- ( keeps quiet and continues to work while listening)
Layla- I really hate him ( pinches the bridge of her nose)
Natalie- ( chuckles) I know.
Layla- no.. no I Hate him ( bites her lip)
Natalie- ( raises an eyebrow before smiling) I know.. I have known for a long time now..
Layla- ( pouts but picks the phone up) Logan's Garage and Auto. this is Layla speaking how may I help you?( bites her lip as the mans voice booms through the speaker and she flinches at his angry tone) sir if you would please calm down I could ( inhales sharply before grabbing up a stack of papers to look through) yes the Nissan exterra yes.. I understand it has been in the shop for a month sir. but that's what happens when the customer continuously-
Natalie- ( grabs the phone from her shooting her a please look before going on to talk to the customer and writing down everything else annoyance clear on her face as she slams the phone down on the reciever) pompous prat.
Layla- ( giggles behind the rim of her coffee cup)
Natalie- take this to Brent it's the new order for the Nissan..
Layla- ( grabs the paper and looks at it as she gets up) and he needs it done with in three days?!
Natalie- yup.
Layla- the mans crazy ( shakes her head as she opens the door to the garage and quickly steps out of the way of Roger before walking in and going straight for the Nissan thats in the third space up on jacks and she has to bite her lip seeing his torso from up under the car but her eyes go straight to his legs. clearing her throat she kicks his foot)
