When the three of them get to class, everyone else is already seated. Iruka Umino notices his new student and excitedly waves her over.

"How are you getting along with the others so far at recess?"

She smiles, "good, I made a friend."

"That's great! Okay class, we have a new student joining as a week late. Go ahead Shikara, you can introduce yourself and say a bit about yourself," Iruka says and gives the girl an encouraging smile.

She stays at the front of the class while her brother and new friend go to their respective seats, "hi, I'm Nara Shikara, I'm six years old and I didn't think I'd be in the same class with my big brother but they said today I am so I'm gonna be graduating with you guys at the end of the year now I think," she ends her speach with a thumbs up pose.

The sensei claps his hands together once, "great! You can head to the empty spot over there Shikara, there aren't assigned seats so any other day you can sit wherever you'd like."

"Okey dokey," the child nods, and heads over to the only open seat and sits. Next to her is Sauske, he doesn't like to be reminded of how Itachi was in her prodigal situation years ago so throughout todays lesson any questions she asks him he just completely ignores.

When class is over, other classmates start crowding around the desk, curious about her.

"Are you shikamarus little sister? Are you a genious too?" The first one asks.

She grins, "Shikamaru's my big brother! But I don't know if I'm a genius, I don't think so."

Then a pink haired girl asks her, "so how come you were placed up to our grade then?"

"I don't know why I'm in this grade," the six year old admits with a shrug.

The quiet black haired guy next to her suddenly states, "she's a prodigy," and pushes past the group of people who were accidentally blocking his way from leaving.

"Jeez, why's he like that?" Shikara asks confused.

"He's like, the last Uchiha alive," gossips a boy holding a puppy, "his brother murdered his entire clan so he doesn't really talk much anymore. He used to be a nice guy."

The pink haired girl hits his arm, "don't talk about Sasuke like that."

"What? Was anything I said not true?"

She looks taken aback, "well, no, but..."

"But exactly," he finishes.
