it was kinda like the world stopped for a second and there was only me and you.

these feelings, the same ones that i felt when we were in school, every time i looked at you.

you finally looked down at me and we held eye contact for a second before i felt the elevator going quicker.

i covered my ears and started panicking. i was scared, and no matter how much you held me the fear wouldn't go away.

one time when i was in the states this same situation happened, but, no one was there to protect or save me.

the only time the elevator stopped falling was when it hit the ground.

i ended up passing out due to no oxygen in the brain.

i was scared, scared shitless.

"it's ok jayeong the elevator stopped, it's ok."

i uncovered my ears and got out of my imagination.

i opened my eyes and looked around me, and once again we made eye contact.

you had this worried look on your face while you looked at me.

"we're just fine don't worry ok? it's done."

you pulled me close and i let out a breath of relief.

we soon started hearing people talking and the elevator doors creaking open.

there was an ambulance, fireman and then just random people.

the elevator went past the floor so they had to pull us up.

"can you take her to the hospital for a check up?"

why was you so concerned?

"do you need to go to the hospital ma'am?"

"no i don't."

"i think-"

"it's fine, i'm going to head back to my room."

that was it with elevators for me.

i made my way to the stairs, still shaking.
