The New Judge?

Gemma 

It has been four weeks now since I met Ted, and I think he's cute and sweet, I don't understand how someone like him doesn't have a girlfriend. The last couple of days we have been talking a lot and walking each other to work and home.

Robin my half-sister didn't seem too pleased with me talking to Ted, but why does she care that I talk with Ted, it's not like they ever were a couple right. Oh well if she has a problem, she can just talk to me. 

Ted 

I and Gemma talk a lot and I think I like her, she is calm and down to earth, but she doesn't really talk about herself a lot, honestly, she is amazing, she is just her, but she does have her guards up. It feels like she isn't really the one to open up too much about herself.

Marshall and Lily are supportive of me because they think she is sweet and kind, right now I am on my way to go and meet with them and Robin. Talking of Robin, she seems kinda mad at me for talking with Gemma, but I guess it's just because of what happened that day Gemma came crying into the bar, but I don't honestly know. 

As I get to Marshall and Lily's door, I see Robin walking up to me, "Hey ted how are you doing?"  Robin gave a small smile while hugging me, I of course hugged back. "Well it's good, me and Gemma are really talking well, she is really sweet and kind." Robin looked rather annoyed when I said Gemma's name, she then harshly knocked on the door. Seconds later the door opened with a cherry happy Lily.

Lily 

 I heard a loud and hard knock that kinda scared me, but I was way too happy today, you see earlier today Gemma came by and wanted to talk to Marshall and me.   

Flashback 

I heard a knock and I quickly ran over and opened the door, there in the hallway was a smiling Gemma, I let her in and hugged her, and she hugged me back. "Hey Lily is Marshall home it is super important?"  what did she want with Marshall, I looked annoyed at her but she didn't notice and that's when Marshall came out. "Hey, Gemma what are you doing here?"  Marshall went over to hug her.

"Well you both have to sit down, this is giant news," Gemma said all cherry "Okay so there is this president judge who quit and they need a new one asap, I told them that I know an amazing, fair, and good judge, I told them his name was Marshall Eriksen. They then said they wanted to meet him and if you do good Marshall, the job is yours". 

Oh My God, she got Marshall an opportunity to be a president judge, "How much do I get paid?" Marshall and I kinda have had a problem with money lately. We need money so if it gave good he could take it. "Well $160,850 a month and it is New York State Supreme Court Judge, if he wants to then he can get the job if he does well."

This is insane, Marshall can get his dream job, he always wanted to be a judge and he earns good money on it. "Oh, and the job interview is in a week, and here is the number",  after about two hours, she left and we called Robin, Ted, and Barney to tell them the news. We promised that we wouldn't tell how he got the chance to be a New York State Supreme Court Judge.

Gemma didn't want them to know, why? I don't know, but I think it's because of Robin. After Gemma came and became better friends with us, Robin have been mad when Gemma's name pop up in the conversation, so we decided not to say her name. 

End Of Flashback   

I let Robin and Ted in, soon after Barney came and we all sat down, me and Marshell sitting on the couch with Ted, Robin, and Barney sitting in the chairs. " So what's up guys?" Robin asked. Marshall and I looked at each other, and then I nodded for him to start, " so I got a job interview to become New York State Supreme Court Judge, it pays $160,850 a month and I am gonna take it". 

Marshall said scared of what they would say, Ted just smiles and got up to hug me and Marshall, Ted always supported Marshall and me with our dreams, that's why he is our best friend. "I'm so proud of you Marshall", Barney and Robin also hugged me. Robin's phone started to vibrate"Oh it's work, I gotta go, bye" She got up and hugged us and left. Ted and Barney stayed for dinner and went home afterward.
