Me and Luci walk to the cafeteria to get our food before we head to our eating spot. Let me warn you now, we cater to any and all supernatural needs. Me and Luci both eat human food, so as we walk past the packets of O- and the pig brains (I'm wasn't kidding) we make a face. Me and her instead head to the salad bar, as we do every Monday. See the only thing with her ability is she gets stronger from colors. She can take the color out of some foods leaving them gray. They still taste amazing, they just don't have any color. Me, I can eat normal food, but for some reason I'm more favorable to fruits. But if they affect my gift, I haven't noticed yet. After we pay for our food, we go outside and walk down the cobblestone path to the eating area. Most people love it out here, it's close to the top of the cliff, so we can see the beachy area down below. Me and my friends sit underneath a big willow tree. It provides shade for Sally which is nice. She is a vampire in case you didn't pick up on my slight hinting at the shade. She is extremely shy, but sweet once you get to know her. Some of our friends are in an extra class right now, so today it's just me, Luci, Mary, Sally, and David. Me and Luci take our seats as we wait for the rest to show up. Most of them having classes in upper floors or far away classrooms, so on Mondays me and Luci chill and wait for them. We're talking about the play when Sally jumps down from a branch.
"Hey Sal. What up"

"Hey Tessa, Luci. Well I just came from math so nothing really."

"Oh yeah, so what'd u get for lunch?"

"The usual, half AB+ have AB- vitamin smoothie."

(Don't worry all blood here is animal) "I wish I hadn't tried it that day, blood is not a good food for before school"

"Yeah, no, I did warn you though. Anyway how was drama?"

"I'll let Luci tell you,"I shoulder her," I'm going to go retrieve Mary"

I leave with Luci doing excited jumps around Sally.

When I reach the science lab, Mary is packing up her back pack mumbling to herself. "Hey gorgeous, need a hand?", I stand back leant against the door.

She gives me the one finger salute and growls.

"Hey, hey I'm joking, what's got you in a sour mood?"

"My freaking backpack tore, and my books and papers went everywhere."

"Oh my god I'm so sorry, let me help". Me and her gather papers from all around the room, under desks and chairs?

"Thanks"

"It's nothing". We laugh and make our way to the lunch room.

"Did you already get food?"

"Yeah, me and Luci had fine arts so we were really close. What are you going to get for lunch?"

She bends over and sniffs the assortment of the meats area, "I'm thinking a sirloin, raw of course".

I make a face, "ew, I know your a werewolf, but still".

"I know you don't like it, but it's all I can really eat", she smirks and licks her lips, "and it's really good"

I shrug and we walk back to Sally and Luci.

S: what took yall so long? You left me here with Luci babbling on about a dance thing.
M: sorry that would be my fault. My back pack tore and papers went everywhere.
L: hey I'm not a babbling idiot! I'm just really excited I got the lead!
M: oh my god! You got it?!?
L: yes and I'm so pumped!
M: congrats gurl.
T: yep she's a real show stopper this one. (I put my arm around her shoulder and squeeze)
L: oh thanks guys yall are so sweet!
S: speaking of guys, anyone seen David?
T: no but he was down on the beach for yoga or some shit. I'll send him a text. ( To David: hey you alive down there? If so care to, I don't know, join the living up here? From: Tessa). I'm sure he'll be up in a sec.
M: so shall we actually sit?
S: I don't know why we were standing in the first place.
L: oh look here he comes.
T: (David lands close to us, his white and blue wings shimmer and fold.) Took you long enough.
D: sorry, my class was running late.
T: (he sets his bag down and pulls out his lunch. For his ability he eats salads, it makes the healing stronger. Healthy foods are his thing.) mmhm.
D: it was!
S: how was whatever class you were in?
M: yeah, Tessa said it was like yoga or something.
All: giggles
D: what the hell Tessa! I told you it was a martial arts class, why would you say it's yoga?
L: well technically she said it was, and I quote, "yoga or some shit". So I guess it was in the some shit category.
T: (I grin at David's expression) see Luci knew what I meant.
D: whatever. So how were yalls courses?
S: I had math, so shitty as always.
D: I'm actually decent at it, but the teacher likes me.
M: I was at science, and my freaking bag tore so it made a huge mess.
T: I helped her clean it up, it was everywhere.
D: ouch. That. Sucks. Ass.
M: yep.
D: how about you Luci?
L: OH MY GOD. IT WAS AMAZING. I GOT THE LEAD IN OUR UPCOMING PERFORMANCE. IVE ALWAYS WANTED IT, AND LIKE ITS MINE NOW. I MEAN IT WAS LIKE THE BEST DAY OF MY LIFE.
D: well ok.....congrats!
L: THANK YOU SO MUCH!
T: I'm happy for you girl, but take it down a notch or too, we're right here.
L: sorry, I'm just SO excited.
D: we know. But anyway what about you Tessa? What did you get?
T: oh well I'm just backstage again.
S: dude you should use your gift more. It will get you good spots for sure.
M: yeah, and yours could totally kick some butt.
L: that's what I keep telling her.
D: guys she's like bright red, stop. Maybe she doesn't want to show off.
T: it's not that it's just hard to do mine and well you know, it's complicated. We should get to class anyway, lunch is about to be over.
