No ones pov

You sat next to Patrick with your head on his shoulder. He asked you to buy him a lighter on your way to the quarry because he lost his. While you bought a lighter you decided to buy a packet of cigarettes. You wanted to smoke them with Patrick but he told you to give it to him.

When you gave it to him he opened it and broke each one in half and threw them into the water below while telling you how he cares too much to let you destroy your lungs, which you thought was stupid but let him do it anyway.

After the whole packet of cigarettes was in the water he started talking about how he missed it when you hung out together.

"Patrick, you do realize that you were the one who cut me off completely when (b/n) died right? Mom and dad stayed late nights next to his grave and i had to stay home alone, crying myself to sleep, wanting to talk to you but you shut me out." You sat up as you told him

"(y/n), I'm sorry, i just, i don't know, i thought that, if i ignored everything about you, then maybe I'd forget that (b/n) was gone and that i like you..." patrick explained

"you....like me?"

"i think so, i just feel weird whenever I'm with you."

"that is adorable"

"okay, you know I'm not into mushy stuff like this (y/n) so I'm just going to make it quick and hope for the best"

He placed his hands on both sides of you face and kissed you passionately. After a few seconds you closed your eyes and kissed back.

He pulled back and looked you jn the eyes.

"does this mean you'll be my girlfriend?"

"no"

"what?"

"I'm joking, we could give this dating thing a chance and see where it goes, okay?"

He gave a smirk and kissed you again.

You pulled away this time due to a noise of sticks breaking and leaves crunching under shoes. You looked around and saw a figure running away, before you could get a good look at it, it was gone.

You ignored it and put your head back on Patrick's shoulder, you then started another conversation with Patrick.
