Shades sighed a bit as the sun warmed his bones and ecto, his ecto was purple, with veins of gold threading through it, and when the sun struck it, it made it look like it was amethyst, with bits of gold in it. He wore a white kimono that was very light and allowed sunlight through, Ser had sewn runes into it after Shades had started having difficulty with his powers interacting with too much sun. The runes used ambient magic to protect him, but allowed him the sun that he needed.

The babies seemed to enjoy it, he was seven months along and he swore that all they did was kick.

His husband was quietly sleeping next to him.

Purple eye lights blinked sleepily, and a frown briefly crossed their face, before a giggle escaped them.

Searcher hummed, in his sleep.

"Sweetie.. wake up." Shades said, poking his larger husband.

"Mmmmmmm... 'Kay..." Searcher mumbled, as he opened his good eye.

"You know how some of the normal gods just appeared, right.. not the elder gods..." Shades said, with a smile growing on his face.

Searcher blinked, and he almost gasped, as he actually woke up.

"Our first normal god just spawned, you might want to grab her as Life just appeared as a five year old." Shade giggled, he could make out with his powers that little child Vita/Life had been playing with flowers in the few minutes that she existed.

"We have to raise Aunt Life?!" Searcher whispered, before he went to pick her up.

Shades chortled, Solas poked his head out, from the inside of his mother's kimono and then, he went back to sleep.

Searcher couldn't help the smile that appeared on his face when he arrived in the field that Life had spawned in.

He carefully walked towards the small child.

"Hello Little One."

A small squeak escaped the tiny goat god, as large brown eyes stared at the skeletal monster.

"I'm not going to hurt you." He carefully sat down.

"Where... am I Mistah?" Little Life lisped.

He internally squealed, his Aunt was so cute! "You're in a Garden Little One."

"Whats cha Gardoon?" She said, excitedly.

"A pretty place with a lot of flowers."

"Dese?" She asked, pointing to a daisy.

He nodded his head. "Yes. That is a flower, and it has it's own name. Do you want to know what it is?"

"Yesh." She lisped.

"It's a daisy."

"Daisy." The tiny life goddess slowly spoke out.

Searcher smiled. "It's happy that you said it's name."

She giggled.

He smiled at her.

"Tired Mistah." Life said, tugging on his haori.

He chuckled. "Do you want me to pick you up?"

She nodded shyly.

He carefully picked her up.

She yawned and she fell asleep, for she was a newborn god.

He carefully stood up, and he started to walk back to where Shades, and Solas, was resting.

"I can't believe that we have to raise you Auntie..." He muttered. "But I promise, that I'll do my best to raise you..."

"Oh my.. so tiny." Shades said sleepily, as Ser walked into the area where he and Solas was sunbathing.

"I know." He whispered to Shades, as he carefully sat down, next to them. "She's adorable, and she has a lisp!"

"Oh my stars, well.. we definitely have enough room in the void core and your temple for her to stay, my dear." Shades said happily.

"Yes... We need to create a photo album for her childhood pictures... And she's going to meet our armada of kids..."

"If I remember right, we have a hundred years, maybe, before the God of Magic, our Grandfather appears, and then, slowly, the others appear." Shades mused. "And this is just one side of the split, Life hasn't appeared in the other Reapertale yet."

"Wait... Does this mean that we might have to raise our Grandfather, and him?"

"No, did you forget the others all appeared as Adults. Actually. I think the other Life did too,,," Shades said, he was a bit confused, but the Fates did agree that only this Life appeared as a child.

Searcher sighed, in relief. "That's a relief... I don't think that I could have handled raising my Asgore... I would look at him, and see what he could become..."

"I never could figure out why your Asgore came out so different, I guess that once he appears we'll find out." Shades said, slowly sitting up, and Solas grumbled, but he slid out of his clothing to sit against his side instead, hidden.

"Yeah... We'll find out... When we meet him."

"By the way, while you were away, the Fates told me I was allowed to do something so I wasn't exactly defenceless." Shades said, he was a bit embarrassed.

"What did they tell you?"

"Solas, you'll have to move love." Shades gently told his eldest.

"Okay Mama." Solas said, climbing out from their spot.

"Promise you won't freak out Ser..." Shades said, with a faint blush on his face.

"I won't... I promise."

"This will feel weird, I just know it." Shades huffed, and his form glowed and shifted.

Searcher tilted his head.

When the light faded, it suddenly wasn't the body of Umbra that stood there, but the tiny form of Shades before he was pulled back in time.

There was differences, of course, for one thing, he still wore the kimono but it now suited his much smaller younger looking form. He didn't have the ecto, and he wasn't showing his pregnancy, but their was a strange glimmer to his bones.

Searcher silently gasped, and he smiled at Shades. "That is so cool..."

"They said it will depend on things, and if I'll get to keep it after the babies are weaned and the illness passes." Shades said shyly, smiling up at his suddenly much taller husband.

"Yeah... I can understand that." Searcher gently patted Shades's head.

"Hey, stop it!" Shades protested.

Searcher giggled.

"Shall, we head home," Shades said impishly, with a certain smile on his face that looked strange on it's younger version.

"Yes... Let's go home."

After all, since the illness.... neither of them had the chance for some Adult fun time together.
