Hi Guys, Chaos here, and I just want to say sorry for this story being on a hiatus for so long... I'm actually dealing with a pretty severe burnout when it comes to writing itself, I haven't touched any of my stories for quite some time, and when I wanted to write, I just couldn't find a place to start. This also affected my will to edit too, so I just didn't touch any of the Reknit chapters that Fire and I had written, and while I finally managed to get bitten by plot bunnies again, I don't know how long it will last, so please, enjoy this chapter, take care of yourself, and stay Determined... I know that I will be trying to do that.

Shades woke up in a hospital room, he knew that he was in one from the sounds and smells around him, even before he opened his eyes. From the feel of it, it was night time. Slowly, he opened them, and his tired eyelights slowly took in the view of a sterile hospital room around him.

There was a curious lack of something, and his mind slowly dragged forth the memories of a rush to the hospital. His hand fluttered to his stomach, where a flat ecto stomach was revealed. Fear flooded him, and he wondered if he had lost the babies, but just before he began to panic, three shapes near the hospital bed caught his attention.

Incubators, three of them, with tiny forms he could barely make out.

Hissing, he pulled himself up, ignoring the pangs of pain from his body.

He sighed in relief when he saw that all three babies were alive, and a small smile slipped onto his face when he saw Ser asleep, in a chair between the bed and the babies, his head lolling forward at an almost painful angle. Carefully, he slid over the side of the bed, the floor was cold to the touch of his feet bones.

Baby 2, read the first incubator, with a timestamp and other medical jargon that he had learned how to read over his long life. The baby bones were deep asleep, their body was hidden due to being swaddled, but Shades could see the beginning of pale orange markings on their neck.

Baby 1, the first born of the trio, was like the second baby, his markings were yellow and they were forming on his forehead.

The third baby had the largest incubator..

Baby 3: Gender Girl.

A Girl... but... skeletons didn't really have genders unless they were carrying or mating?

"Oh no.. my poor sweet child." Shades said, in horror, as he read over her information.

He... he couldn't lose her just after she was born.

His arms slipped into the built-in gloves in the side of the incubator, wishing he could reach into it, with his own hands, to pick her up. The built in gloves gently touched his much too fragile child, and he could feel her infant magic rub against his own.

"Hello my little one, my little miracle... live for us." Shades whispered lovingly.

The little fragile child moved, slightly, to get closer to the gloves.

"Ohh.... she has hair, I can't tell what color it will be once the ecto clears in it." Shades said smiling, as the tiny tuff came into sight. At this stage, neither one of the triplets would have their own colored ecto, so the ecto hair would retain the purple colour of shades's Magic untill their body grew enough to produce more of their own.

The child settled down, as her eyes opened, and Shades got to see what colour they were...

They were a bright silver, and they looked like his husband's eyelight.

"You're going to have your papa tied around your finger." Shades giggled, he winced a bit from a bit of pain from where the surgery had been, even though it had been healed.

She closed her eyes, and she went back to sleep.

"Shades?"

"They're beautiful Ser." Shades said tearfully, not moving away from the babies. Babies he had yet to hold, and who knows how long it would be before he would be able to even touch them properly.

"I know." His husband walked over to him, and he gently wrapped his arms around Shades. "Solas and Life are sleeping on the couch." He looked towards a couch where the two of them were sleeping, curled up under his haori. "I'm just so happy that all four of you are okay."

"Did they say anything about the babies, or how long they'll be in those things?" Shades whispered, leaning against his husband.

"It depends on how quickly they recover from their birth... They say that Babies One and Two should be okay in a few days, they came out screaming... But I don't know how long our Little Girl will be in them... They didn't tell me."

"We.. we.. should name them." Shades sniffled. "Baby one has cute yellow god markings on his forehead."

"I know... They started to develop when he calmed down, and baby two has them on his neck."

"Our little girl's markings are hidden, but I bet that they're just as adorable. But they need names Love." Shades laughed.

"Okay... Well... I am starting to feel what their aspects will be... Babies One and Two feel like they're on opposite sides... Like Nightmare and Dream, but they aren't tied to emotions."

"Hmm.. you're right, and our little girl seems to balance them out. But.. doesn't Baby two's magic feel a bit.. chaotic?" Shades said, thoughtfully.

"Yeah... It does... Our little girl seems to be in the middle of them... And she has fire Shades... I can feel it."

"How about Spe for Baby two, and Benedictus for Baby one?" Shades mused thoughtfully.

"Hope and Order... I like that idea." Searcher smiled. "And if I follow the theme when it comes to names.... I think that I have the perfect name for our Baby Girl... Miraculum."

"Miraculum.. yes... I like that..." Shades said, happily.

"Our little miracle..." Searcher smiled.

A yawn escaped Shades, as the illness and rushED surgery due to the ecto breach during his labour had exhausted him. "We need sleep, I have a feeling that the next morning will be crazy... the bed's big enough for both of us if we don't move too much." Shades softly said.

"Yeah... If we don't move too much, we can share the bed."

Another yawn escaped the dark guardian.

Searcher gently led Shades over to the bed.

Shades hummed as they curled under the covers together, and he laid his head over his husband's chest, listening to his soul. It was relaxing, and he quickly drifted back to sleep.

Searcher smiled as he gently rubbed Shades's back.
