"Y'know, some days I wish I was a dog."

"Dude... What the hell?" Oliver glanced up from his textbook, eyeing the fluffy blob of blonde hair that swayed in his vision like grass on a windy day. The low humming of a lullaby reverberated within the room, the source coming from the speakers that were scattered amist the hallways and classrooms. The same old boring lullaby that the Principle enjoyed popping on at the worst of moments. An unpleasant moment being now, as Oliver only had 10 minutes till lunch to revise for an upcoming exam he had in his next lesson.

And lord help him if he had to study during his lunch break. He had more important things to do.

Like eating.

It had only been a few days since they were faced with Norman and his new acquaintance in their café, and only a few days at that since Norman had sent them word of his return from supposedly a business trip in France.

Chills had ran down their spines at the crippling news, and no matter how much they tried to calm their nerves, their bodies were locked into high alert incase of another emergency. Bags packed, fists clenched, and their protective security persona's on high alert around Norman and his friends (even though he explained that the bodyguards were not necessary). But even so, merely a few days later it appeared that everyone had settled down somewhat to their normal selves.

Including Hayato, and his... Interesting personality.

Hayato perked up, leaning his cheek onto his open palm perched upon his friends desk. "I mean, think about it! They' re fluffy and cute, and to top it off you get to run, jump and lie around all day. That right there is the dream life." Hayato kicked his legs back and fourth under the desk, eventually changing to lean back in his chair.

Oliver watched calmly, counting the seconds it took before the hyperactive blonde leaned a bit too far back and toppled to the ground.

Unfortunately that moment did not come to pass.

Oliver rubbed the remaining drowsiness from his ruby red eyes, gently shutting the textbook the teacher had set the class to revise on before bailing on them; school was tiring, and his best friend even more so. "You just described yourself Hayato, you practically are a dog."

Hayato stood up abruptly at the statement, slamming his hands onto the desk, "Wah- No I'm not! I'm a normal human being! Well- normal as can with with a tendancy to bite people, but so what-"

"Excuse me!? You bite people!??"

"Only if they touch my food." The dirty blonde pouted, crossing his arms over his chest. He held no responsibility for the lives of others if they so dared to get in the way of him and his food.

"Hayato... That's not normal. Do I have to report this to... The Norman?" Oliver threatened, brushing the chaotic mess of white and red hair out of his sight of vision.
