3rd Person's pov

If Ray had to describe the man towering over him, he would have to go with creepy.

He wore a concerningly large smile and piercing eyes that sent shivers up and down his spine. He was tall and, quite frankly, the exact opposite of Norman. Gabriel was well dressed, rocking a dark purple suit and black tie, all joined together with the pony tail he had slicked back with an unnecessary amount of hair gel. Truthfully, at the beginning, he assumed he was bald - but no, just excessive - why this man was this formally dressed when he was at home, Ray could not understand.

But in all odds, Ray was relieved to discover the contrasts between Norman and his father, even during the awkward eye contact he was holding with said man currently.

'Does this fucker even blink??'

Ray sat still; what should he do? He couldn't exactly crack up a conversation with the man, so he opted to sit back and watch how it would all roll out. His eyes remained locked on Gabriel, yet it didn't appear to faze him, as he only reached a hand out for the raven to shake. "I apologise for my intrusion, I heard Norman had a guest and wanted to ensure they were settling in alright." His tone was anything but kind, almost as if venom was spewing out every time he opened his mouth. What the man said was a complete lie, and Ray was well aware of that. He had a knack for deciphering bullshit - had to be when you're the son of Isabella. Even so, he sent a polite nod his way, glancing past Gabriel into the darkness of the hallway.

He was dying to see Norman's familiar figure fade into view, but unfortunately, there was nothing there to see. Not even a slither of hops to be found. He hadn't returned yet. Ray glanced down at the hand, gestured in front of him, and backed up. He would rather eat dog crap than hold this man's hand. A sudden frown etched onto the older man's face, but it didn't last long as he was found smiling at him again, this time with his hand down towards the ground.

"Not much for friendly gestures, that's quite alright. So, how long have you known my son for? I hope he hasn't been causing too much trouble." Trouble? The thought of Norman causing such a thing was laughable. It was evident that Gabriel knew nothing about Norman's true personality.

They must be rather distant considering the fact that they live in the same house. 'I can understand that. Parents aren't always the easiest to talk to...' Ray huffed, shaking his head at the question, not once offering up a polite smile; he wasn't going to sugar-coat it, he absolutely despised this dude.

"Norman can be a handful at times, stubborn and rather harsh with words. Im surprise to see hes settling into his new school so well." The raven furrowed his brows; harsh? Surely, the man was talking about someone else. Perhaps William - but no - he made no move to correct himself, just loomed over him waiting for an answer. 'This guy really needs his eyes checked'. He shook his head again, hoisting himself up off of the bed and taking a large step forward. He wasn't scared of this guy.

He'd dealt with worse.

From within the hallway, Ray could hear the small clicking of footsteps becoming louder with each passing moment, and that alone was enough to reassure and put a small smile on his face. He was unsure if it was Norman, but it didn't matter to him much. Anyone was better than the blonde bimbo in front of him. Shrugging the man off with a side glance, Ray strolled his way over to the figure fading into view, taking their hand in theirs and darting in the opposite direction of Norman's room. Gabriel wasn't someone Ray wanted around him, not in the slightest.
