Volstagg bashes on the window and they all stand there, grinning and waving like fools, as I stand behind them, my arms crossed over my chest. Thor, Jane, Darcy, and Selvig are all inside the building and immediately look up. Confusion laces the Midgardians' features, whilst Thor grins in surprise and excitement.

"Found you!", Volstagg exclaims cheerily.

A mug, as I've learned they're called, slips from Selvig's hand and shatters upon impact with the floor, "My friends!", Thor exclaims.

They pull open the glass doors and rush inside, as I enthusiastically trudge after them. Thor rushes over and gives Volstag a hug, "This is good! This is good.". Over Volstag's shoulder, Thor notices me; we lock eyes, though I hastily drop my gaze to my shoes.

"I don't believe it...", Selvig mutters.

"Oh, excuse me. Lady Sif and the warriors three.", Volstag introduces, "And this is Lady Astrid."

"My friends, I've never been happier to see anyone. But you should not have come.", Thor tells us.

Fandral almost laughs, "We're here to take you home."

"You know I can't go home. My father is dead because of me. I must remain in exile.", he declares.

"Thor, your father lives on.", I snap, a lot more impatiently than my tone should be with someone who thought they'd caused their father's demise.

"He... He is not dead?", he stammers.

"No, Loki tricked you. Why would I return here if it was not urgent? I thought I made it clear as day that I wasn't coming back in our last interaction.", I state blankly, "And you made it very clear that you didn't want me to come back."
