Evelyn: Please please!!
Kate: I've already told you Evelyn my answer will not change.
Evelyn was practically begging Kate to lend her money. Though the latter herself hasn't received her allowance since 3 months since her father has been so distant.
It was after school, the sky was painted orange pink and slicked with a few darkening clouds.
The weather forecast announced that torrential rains would occur in the evening. Specks of dark black clouds could be seen in the far horizon.
Kate was leaving for home. She was already scared... Home wasn't even home anymore, how she wished she could shift to an emerald sea where she would have been the sole inhabitant as a mermaid. She wanted to be free. To taste the sweetness of freedom.
That's when she heard a loud thud, she turned to see Evelyn on her knees.
Evelyn: KATE PLEASE, YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND.
Kate: Evelyn stop shouting!
She cried.
Evelyn: You rich roaches don't need all that money! Us, poor needs it. Be compassionate. You... You have money! Everything you desire on the spot. PLEASE I BEG YOU. MY- MY SMALL BROTHER HAS DYSENTERY...
Kate gave her a sadden look.
Kate: I... I wish to help! Really! But...
Evelyn: THE DOCTORS SAID IT CAN BE FATAL. YOU CAN'T UNDERSTAND.
Kate was petrified, seeing a girl like Evelyn who never talks yelling like that was quite disturbing.
Evelyn sprung to her feet, dusting thoroughly her skirt.
She took a deep breath.
Evelyn: Alright alright... I shouldn't have screamed, sorry. Happy? Now give me the money.
She said before reaching for Kate's pocket where her purse was resting.
Kate took a step aside.
Kate: No
Evelyn: What..?
Kate: I SAID NO! YOU CAN'T UNDERSTAND, I... I'M HELPLESS HOW I WISH TO HELP PEOPLE LIKE YOU... I CAN'T.
Evelyn looked at her, anger in her cold grey eyes.
Evelyn: You'll regret this.
She said clenching her fist.
Kate: What?
On these words, she walked promptly away from the class, leaving Kate still in shock from their confrontation.
She walked passed Jungkook, it seemed like he wanted to talk to her. But she ignored him, waking pass him as tears streamed her face.
Kate eventually left the class, walking in the playground. She wanted to scream, but not even her voice would be able to sustain all the things she wanted to yell.
She sat down, contemplating the ground. That's when Jungkook approached her and talked about her current behaviors in class.
Kate denied everything and said she was fine. And after a long awkward silence, he eventually left, telling her she could count on him.

Evelyn: That scum! I will make her regret everything, if something happens to my dear brother i will kill her with my own hands.
???: Well well... It seems we both hate Kate!
Evelyn cautiously turned. She swiftly took out her pocket knife, out stretching her thin arm in a defensive manner ready to attack.
