You promised me. You told me. You said. And I trusted you.
Sometimes a promise is a lie and it hurts when you find out. There is no way to truly tell if a promise is a lie or the truth.
But you always want to say "it's true" because you don't want to hurt because of the lies and the fake. But you end up hurt anyway.
If only I could tell before I'm hurt, it would be so much easier, but. That's not how it works.
I guess we just do live and learn. But I promise, the hurt won't last forever.
