Qibli paced anxiously on the Healer's Platform. He hoped Winter was okay... but, he also felt super awkward being there.
They had just had sex and now Winter was literally unconscious in a makeshift-looking-hospital-thing.

"Turtle?" Qibli's suddenly blurted our. The green SeaWing turned to face his friend. "Do you think that Winter will be alright? Can't your river rock heal him?"

"No... I'm afraid not." Turtle shook his head slowly. "My rock only heals bruises and injuries on the surface... not something on the inside or with their head."

"Can't you enchant something?" Qibli wailed desperately. "Please? I don't want to lose him. He... he's very... Uh... important. I guess..."

"Fine, to save Winter." Turtle sighed regretfully. Qibli cringed as he watched Turtle whisper under his breath, enchanting a leaf to heal Winter. His soul was draining from this.

"Here you go." Turtle handed Qibli the scales. "It will heal all his recent injuries, including his rabies, or whatever this is."
Turtle motioned to the foam near Winter's mouth.
"I think he may have had a seizure," Moon fretted. "I mean, look at all the evidence. "His eyes, his shaking body, and the foam... Qibli, hurry and touch him with that leaf."

Qibli nodded his head, taking in a shaky breath. This is to heal him. He's not going to be hurt. Turtle enchanted this to heal Winter, not kill him. I hope.
Without another thought, Qibli touched the leaf to Winter's ice cold scales. Within moments, the IceWing's muscles relaxed, his eyes closed and his tongue lolled out of the side of his mouth.

"What's going to happen now?" Kinkajou asked worriedly.
"Let him rest," Moon said reassuringly, brushing her wing against Winter's. At this, Qibli felt his blood boil. Who did she think she was? Touching her... well, Winter and Qibli never actually confessed their feelings to each other. They just... fucked. That was all.
"Uh, Qibli?" A voice broke into his thoughts. It was Turtle. "You need to stop strangling Winter and let him rest. He's gone through enough already."

Qibli's eyes widened, and he laid Winter's head gently onto his pillow. "Right, sorry. I'll... leave now, I guess."

What was I doing!? Turtle probably things I'm psycho now! Why was I even choking Winter in the first place? Whatever made Qibli do that, he decided it would have to wait. Despite the lingering warmth in his stomach, he was very cold and hungry. I need to eat something other than dick for once. Qibli hissed silently to himself before slithering into the kitchen where Kinkajou and Moon were eating mangoes and bananas.
"Does he have any lizards?" Qibli asked, rummaging through Winter's food stash. "I'm starving."

"No, but I think I saw some... cow or deer meat resting on that ice block over there," Kinkajou motioned to a giant block of ice in the corner of Winter's kitchen. Sure enough, there was meat on there, just not fit for Qibli.
"That's too heavy for me. It's fine," Qibli cleared his throat. "I'm going to bed. Goodnight guys."
