Beginnings of something.... great?

Third Person

Lilly was currently in the library of the compound. She couldn't read so she got Ariel to read it for her.

"He leant down and was about to kiss Carelle but as soon as the lips made contact they were immediately retracted by a sudden pain entering the stomach of Roma" Ariel read aloud from the book.

Lilly's face turned to shook as she gasped. As Ariel read to her best friend, Sage walked in. Ariel stopped and glared at sage, as the dark brown haired girl approached them.

"What do you want?" Ariel growled at her. Over the long time of trying to forgive herself, Ariel pushed the blame on Sage.

"I Just wanted to apologize. I didn't want to hurt anyone. It was dreykov" Sage explained. Lilly sat up and nearly fell from the table leg but sage caught her.

Ariel ripped Lilly away from Sage and held her beside her. "Your still not going near her or I'll stab you so many types, not even the blind would make out a body" Ariel growled.

For some reason Lilly took offense to this. Was Ariel really threatening someone who may have saved lilly by risking her own life for telling the avengers where Lilly was?

"Ariel honestly it's ok. Sage will not out me in danger. I know who she was under the black widow Programing. And I would like to speak to her alone?" Lilly asked.

Ariel huffed, blowing the loose bit of her hair out of her face, and stormed off. Lilly frowned upon hearing the fading clack of Ariel's boots.

"I'm so sor-" Sage was cut off by Lilly hugging her. "Don't blame yourself. We can't stop what dreykov wants" she reasured. Her eye direction never lined up with the people she talked with.

Her head was always turned somewhere else..

"You know, I helped Ariel with the torture device, and I was the one who uhhh, helped the Widows to use their other Senses for the blindness. Maybe I could help?" Sage explained.

Lilly smiled and hugged her again. Despite the hug being lop sided at first it was heart warming.

It's been two months. Ariel has been going to school with Thomas and Sage. Dylan stayed home to make sure Lilly was ok.

Tony didn't let her go because he was scared she might be bullied because of her eyes.

In those two months, Sage has taught Lilly some ways to help her blindness. Like heightened sensnes. She also said she could come up with a Vial source that could help her affects of seeing.

It was a Friday night and Ariel was walking down the street. She was supposed to meet Thomas at A cafe for a study session with MJ and a boy named Luke.

He never turned up and neither did Luke, so the two girls just chatted and did the work themselves.

Ariel was fidgeting with her phone. She's called Thomas Five times and no answer.. texted him over 20 times, and still no answer.

She then opened up her tracking device Bruce gave her and saw he was on the school football field.

"Why is he at the school Football field?"

Ariel run on the field to find Thomas. "Thomas! Thomas!" She called out. "Mjmhnsmsns" she heard from somewhere.
