Lilly POV

It had been at least a week or two of me seeing again and it wasn't actually as terrible as I thought it would be. Dylan helped a lot, helping me gain a sense of life with these glasses, teaching me how to clean them and fix them if they acted up. Now I was normal again. No more lost eyesight, no more sympathy, nothing.

Ariel didn't really come out anymore. She mainly stayed locked away in her room scribbling who knows what on notepads. She used so many that they started piling up in her room in towers, and yet she wouldn't let us read one. And still, Thomas assured everyone that she was fine even though we knew she wasn't. Her veins constantly glowed to show she was having multiple visions, bad or good we didn't know...

 *Time skip*

 Ariel POV

For the first time in two weeks, I left my room. It was a cold June morning and no one was around. Probably on a mission...

I sat at the table with my book and a cup of coffee, sipping at it as I read over my visions.

A warm sunny beach day. Tsunami. Death. Villain. Death. Tricks. Death.

I huffed. Death seemed to be what this vision came back to without delay. Flipping the page, I read another page.

Thomas, Dylan, Lilly and I are walking down a street and someone pops out, someone I can't see, they're blurry. They pull out something and use it, resulting in Thomas-

I was pulled out of my thoughts by a knock at the door. Leaving the book where it was, I glided towards it, opening it to see women in black. "Boo Bitch" Before I could open my mouth I felt a sharp pain in my neck and turned to a girl to see her with a smirk as I came crashing to the floor, losing consciousness.

 Lilly POV

Dylan, Thomas and I went out this morning to grab a present for Ariel as it was her birthday. She probably forgot. Being locked in that room would've done something to her. I just couldn't bear to think about how angry she would be if we forgot, or how upset at herself she would be if I forgot. So that's why we went out, grabbing a few pens, notepads, a tattoo gift card to get one and a necklace with her name engraved into it.

As we made it home, we found the door wide open, causing us all to panic. The Avengers were all out on a mission for Fury and we were out as well, leaving Ariel by herself.

Thomas sprinted inside calling her name and Dylan and I looked at each other before running in. The coffee on the bench was still hot, Ariel's door wide open and a notepad of hers wide open next to the coffee.

"What the hell happened?!" Dylan called out in shock.

"I don't bloody know!!!" Thomas retorted.Oh, did I mention the tension these two have had for the past two weeks? No? Well, it's exhausting for everyone, and I mean literally EVERYONE.

"You should! She's YOUR girlfriend!"

"She ain't my girlfriend!"

"Well you fu-"

"BOYS!!!"

They stopped, turning to me, and gasping when I showed them the signature mark that was engraved on the floor. The widow mark.

 Ariel POV

I stood on some weird platform, wires attached to my skin and temples. I knew what was to come and I was petrified. I'd been here many times. Times when I wouldn't behave or when I did the wrong thing in training, I've been here for every reason, sometimes it wasn't a reason at all.

"Well, well, well," HE said, emerging from the shadows. "I haven't seen you in a long long time Miss Clyder, you have changed, and not for the better."

"Dreykov," I spat.

My saliva hit his cheek and I watched as he slowly wiped it off and nodded to the men behind a desk of buttons.

The button was pushed. The dial went up. I was hit with a torturous electric shock through my whole body and up to my head. I let out a horrifying scream.

"Now, tell me where she is?" Dreykov smirked.

"Who?" I replied, refusing to answer his question.

He nodded again and the same electric shock shot through me, except it was stronger than the last.

Another question, another shock, more intense, more speed, more questions, more, more, more. Another question, another intense shock. More. Another question. Intense shock. MORE! ANOTHER QUESTION! ANOTHER SHOCK! MORE!

This went on for hours and hours, maybe even a day or two, I didn't know, I lost track after the first six. I was thrown into a white room. Kinda like a cell. I lay shaking on the floor.

Cold...cold....shock....cold....electric....bad girl.....where is she.....widow......one.....no......quiet......cold.....
bad....girl......no....fight.....kill....train....spell.....
death....trick....

My eyes shot open, glowing a vibrant red. I knew what I had to do, what I was trained to do...I had to kill.

Lilly's POV

These boys were doing my head in. Honestly i want nothing more than to hit them on the head with a frying pan. They were to caught up in their silly little argument on where ariel was that they arent even going to look.

But i am.

Im prepared to save my friend.
