Chapter 9 - Kuroko
"Hey mom look!" I ran towards her with a butterfly on my hand."Isn't it beaut-"
Before I could continue, mom covered my mouth with her palm."Baby,now shush. "
I took a closer look at her and realised that there was blood all over her. I then took another look around the place,it's all cover with blood. Only two conclusion - she's badly injured or, she a ghoul.
"Mum...A-Are you a ghoul?" The words came out from me easier than I thought.
"Why,you're getting smarter now isn't it?" She threw an arm to me,"Now eat that!"
"H-Huh?"
"Don't tell me you don't know you are one too?Eat it!" In a split second, she shoved the flesh into my mouth." That's my good girl. "
I choke and tried hitting my chest to get the flesh out.But somehow, it taste delicious. My left eye then started to become numb.
"I told you my baby. You're just starting to have it."
Slowly, the pain was gone. As I looked down at my reflection through the water in my cup,I realised that my left eye is different from my right eye.
I didn't care much about it then.
"You smelled nice" Mum smirked,wiping my shoulder with her wrist. "You should taste just as nice!" She bit me right into my shoulder,then yank a portion of the flesh out.
I couldn't control myself after that.All I remembered at that time was,kill.
I didn't think much either. I walked out,leaving only skeletons behind. The harsh and rough battle with my mom made my wounds worse. I pressed a warm towel on my wounds while walking towards the nearest shelter.
Finally managed to find an abandoned building, I walked in and sat down.
"Please tell me who I really am..."a voice called out.
I took a peek and found a girl around my age. I took a closer look again.This time, her eye colour changes from pink to red.
"Who's there?!" She yelled.
I had no choice but to show myself. Seeing how badly injured I was,she came to me and wrapped a wet towel on my wounds. Unknowingly, I left my Kagune (Kagunei or whatever) wild, it stabbed her back, then her leg.
"H-Huh?" Blood started dripping from a side of her mouth.
