No matter what he did, Touya couldn't seem to get that hero off his mind.

Every thing, every action, every damned step he took reminded the villan that was alone again, with nobody to hold for comfort, nobody to rant to about the way of the world, nobody to hold hands with when he was upset, nobody to satisfy his urges.

The list was endless.

And yes. He, too, had contemplated over suicide. But would that really fix everything? Would his bird want that for him?

No.

He was sure his bird didn't care for him anyway, and he certainly didn't care for his bird.

All he loved had been stripped from him, snatched away so suddenly that he didn't have a chance to say goodbye properly.

And all he had loved, was Keigo.

When I bit off more than I could chew
And through it all, when there was doubt,
I ate it up and spit it out

I faced it all and stood tall
And did it my way
