Chapter 14

Manik's pov

It's been more than one week after Dr checking nandhu. She is all good not fully though and it's been more than one week I heard their conversation and I don't know now also why she said like that and I didn't even asked her about it.

She is all fit to travel and I confirmed it with the same Dr but then why she requested the Dr to say she is unfit to travel and it may affect her health. I didn't asked her since I know she will tell herself everything to me.  But I guess it will not happen this time.

Because from last 3 days I'm noticing her , she is always lost in thoughts Nd also ignoring me sometimes intentionally. Where is my expressive nandhu ? This question is always roaming in my mind.

Now I had enough I gave so much time to share but no. I decided that we are going back tomorrow evening and she will come with me , I will make sure of that. But before that I should ask her once. Hopefully she will respond positively.

Manik came to their room determined to see nandhu again lost in thoughts. He sighs seeing her and taking a deep breath went near her and sat beside her.

Nandhu was so much lost that she didn't realise his presence. Manik leaned towards her and pecked her cheek breaking her thoughts.

" mani.... when you came? "  she asked composing herself.

" when you were lost God knows in who ? " He said rolling his eyes.

" mani... i wasn't lost in anyone and  other than you  there is no one who can make me lost"  she chuckled a bit

" if you say so . Anyway leave all that I have a good news for you "  manik said happily

" really and what is that ? Tell me fast " she asked excitedly turning towards him .

" I got the permission from the Dr for your travelling and also I asked about all necessary things regarding your treatment . He recommended one of the best Dr in Mumbai for further treatment too. So now you are fit so I think we should go back so I booked the tickets for tomorrow evening flights.  Isn't it a happy news baby ?"  Manik said while watching her cleanly whose expression suddenly changed from happy to sad then to tensed.

" mani I know it's a happy news but I don't want to go to Mumbai at least not for now.  Mani... if you want you can go back with bhai but I. ..." she said turning to other side

" so you don't want me to be with you " manik asked angrily suddenly standing.

" no mani you know it's not true. But understand na mani I can't come with you now pls and it's my final decision. " she said determined

" I knew it you will not come. But then also I tried it's my fault. I should have known when you requested the Dr to tell lie about you being unfit " manik said shocking her

" mani you.. i..."  she stammered

" let it be nandhu. I knew this from day one and I was waiting for you to share but no you..
Leave it I'm asking you one last time are you coming back with me or not ?"   He said

Nandhini didn't said anything and manik got his answer.

" Ok fine . I want to know something what are you hiding from me jaan ? Pls tell me "  manik asked calmly

" I'm not hiding anything mani ..." she said without looking him.

" really nandhini ? You are not hiding anything then why the hell you are reluctant to go back Mumbai and why are you ignoring me from last 3 days? After we came back from mall before 3 days you are not talking to me properly,  you are avoiding me and always lost in thoughts . What do you think I didn't notice anything . Tell me the truth dammit ?"  At last manik shouted angrily

" mani I. . I'm sorry mani bit I can't tell you anything. Pls give me sometime. And pls you and bhai pls go back " she said

" so you will not say anything right ? One last question who is rohan ? "  manik asked startling her.

She was shocked hearing the name from manik's mouth. She was thinking how he knew rohan. She was in her thoughts that manik's patience broke Nd he yelled.

" tell me nandhini who is rohan? "  manik shouted

" I... i don't know "  she said

Hearing her continous lie manik was hurt Nd angry.

" you.... you are hell bent on telling lies and hiding things from me right . Ok fine now I will nt ask anything from you. You want us to go back right fine we will go tomorrow  only and you can do whatever you want. I don't care...."  He angrily yelled nd dashed outside leaving nandhini in tears.
