Chapter 20

Manik's pov 

Finally it's the D day. All preparations are done. Druv and alya agreed to do the concert after I'm the monster Manik thru didn't had any choice other than to agree right. Everuthing is set just a few minutes and the concert will begin.

But don't know why I feel restless.  I feel like something is going to happen today and it is making me scared and worried. 

It's true that I won't let anything happen to my nandhini when I'm around but what if I failed then my nandhini.. no I can't lose her again. Without nandhini there is no manik and today I just got feel right. I know something will happen and my not so innocent jaan is doing all these with a plan amd that is making me more worried.

The only thing which give me relief is  today I will get all answers of my questions after the concert.  I'm just waiting for that time.

Now I just need to see her. Or else this restless will make mad.

Manik went in search of nandhini who was doing her final touch up. He was admiring her from outside. He slowly came near her and hugged her from back. She was startled for a moment but soon relaxed feeling it's manik. She turned and hugged him to which he tightened the grip.

She kbew he us worried for her. They both stayed in that hug for sometime.  Nandhini slowly kisses his chest where his heart residues above his shirt which formed a smile on his lips. He too pecked her head.

" mani don't worry everything will be ok soon I promise "  she said placing her hands on his chest still in hug. 

" now go and rock the stage. I will be in front of you cheering for you "  she said breaking the hug. Placing a forhead kiss on him she send him away.

Soon the fab 5 were on the stage to set the fire on stage for the last time. The audience were all excited to hear them after a small break.

They took their seats and the magical voice of manik echoed the auditorium.

One after another they sang the songs remembering all their memories. All were having slight tears in their eyes .

Soon the concert came to an end and manik took the Mike in his hands.

" Good evening everyone. Hope you guys liked the performance.  We are here to announce something to you guys today and that is its the last performance of fab 5. From today onwards there is no more fab 5. I manik malhotra announces that fab 5 is disbanded from today and I or we don't want any discussion about this and we are not answerable to anyone. "  He announced and went from there followed by others without waiting for anything.

The hall were in a mess and the audience were whispering their own theories regarding the topic. While the host welcomed manik and nandhini aka manan to give their special performance.

Soon they both were on stage and what followed was their soulful voice capturing the hearts of many. After ending the song they both hugged each other.

" manik are you ok ?"  She asked still in the hug

" I'm ok till you are with me nandhini "  He said tightening his grip around her.

The claps from the audience broke their hug and the both bow down in front of them.

Suddenly they heart a thud sound followed by a gun shot. Hearing the shot sound audience got scared and began to run here and there while manik was shocked and he turned to look for nandhini only to see her lying on floor unconscious.

Seeing her like that broke his heart and he was scared. He ran near her and held her in his arms and tried to wake her up by patting her cheeks and calling her.

Cabir mukti alya and druv too came near them.  They also tried to wake her up while cabir were broken seeing manik and nandhini like that.

" nandhini  you promised me that you won't let anything to happen or hurt my baby then how can you broke your promise. It's not a joke nandhini I'm telling I'm not liking it even a bit.  Get up nandhini pls don't make me a monster ok. Pls nandhini get up dammit.  "  He said holding her and trying to wake her.

" nandhini........."  He shouted loudly seeing her showing no movement.
