Chapter three

Me and jiyeon talked for awhile..I got to know her more on a personal level. "So why didn't you go home?"

"I don't have a home to go too.." she said quite embarrassed. "Then where do you even stay?"

"I'm just out and about mostly..I actually don't ..stay..anywhere.."

I looked at her shocked but it was a bit similar like in the dream she told me she had no one in the dream and it was the same thing for her in reality.

"I'm actually quite hungry." She said looking at the floor. "come let's go..get something to eat." I told her.

I was pretty hungry myself working late and not really eating anything. "Are you sure about this? I'm sorry for troubling you." She said.

"You're not troubling me at all you must be starving." I held her hand and took her to the convenient store across the street and bought us both noodles.

We sat down outside and ate. "Do you drink?" I asked her. "Sometimes..it's been really hard for me..lately."

I bought us two bottles of soju and poured some in a glass for her and me. I watched her eat very fast, I could see how hungry she might have been. I watched her drink her soju, I picked my glass up and drank mine as well.

"Wow this soju is really good..thank you for this.." she said smiling a bit. I don't know why but just being here with her felt like it's something I was meant to do..I felt the need to protect her.

I didn't get to protect her in my dream and..it felt..safe. "Hey..I know you don't have anywhere to stay right now but..I have a spare room at my house you can stay there for awhile.."

She looked up at me and I could see the sadness in her eyes.."Why are you doing all of this why are you evenhelping me? Im just some stranger you found on the street how do you trust me?"

"Because..you don't need to know someone to help them..you help them out of the kindness in your heart..I just trust you..it feels like I know you.."

"I still have to find out the missing puzzle pieces..the dream means something..you're here I've met you..and we even had similar dreams..there's something deeper going on here.."

She drank the rest of her soju and smiled at me it seemed like she was already drunk. "Well you know..no one's ever helped me..like this..everyone has passed me by but you're the one person who hasn't.." she said coming over to hug me.

My face turn red and I just stand there not even knowing what to do..i just feel her warm embrace and at some point I hug her back closing my eyes. "Let's stay like this for a little while..."

I nodded and held her tightly.
