Chapter ten.

It had only been a few days and saebyeok was busy with work as usual and I was missing her longing for her kiss and touch and I just needed her.

I was also thinking about bringing up the job topic when she arrived home. "I hope I wouldn't be to much of a bother to her.." I said to myself.

"A bother to who?" Saebyeok mom said looking at me.

I didn't even know she was there and it startled me. "Oh! You scared me! Nothing I was just thinking about something is all.."

"What is that? What's on your mind honey? Is everything okay at home?..you've been staying here for quite some time now and I'm worried about you? do you maybe wanna talk about it?"

I felt ashamed and didn't even know what to say. "Well...you see..the truth is I was kind of kicked out and I have nowhere to stay for awhile..and I am also struggling financially I was embarrassed to ask you're daughter for help but she..offered."

It wasn't the full truth but it was kind of half of the truth I was kicked out but it was a long time ago and I had been living on the streets for a long time and barely survived.

"Oh honey I'm so sorry..it must have been so hard for you..well..are you thinking about getting a job anytime soon?" Her mother had asked.

"Of course..I also wanted to bring it up with..saebyeok.."

"I can help you with that! You can come help out at my restaurant! You can be waitress there..but the only requirement is that you've graduated!"

Well at least I was graduated and finished school. "That wouldn't be a problem thank you so much.."

"Yes here you can fill out this application on my phone.." I felt really embarrassed but I bowed and took her phone filling out the form applying for the job.

"You have to go in for the interview tomorrow okay?" I nodded. "Thank you so much."

I didn't even have a phone with me. Though, once I finally get a job maybe I can even buy myself a phone too because I need one.

An hour later or so saebyeok was finally home. "Hey!! Welcome home how was work?" I asked hugging her tightly as she walked through the doors. "I missed you so much!" I told her.

"I missed you too work was the same boring thing..! My mom texted me and told me she helped you sign up to work with her at her job and you will have an interview on Monday congratulations I'm really happy for you."

I—didn't even know she knew already. "Oh wow ..word gets around pretty quickly."

"Don't worry my moms just very happy to be having a working partner it'll be good for you..so you won't have to be alone..and time would pass and before you know it we will both be home seeing each other."

"Yeah but I haven't even gotten the job yet I just have to pass the interview on Monday.."

"Well there's no doubt you'll do fine."
She said closing the door behind her and putting her things down.

"Also I have a present for you."

"You bought me a gift you really didn't have to—" I told her.

"Open it!!" She told me handing me a box.

I opened up the box and it was a..phone..I smiled awkwardly. "Thank you so much but really you didn't have to buy me this nice phone....it must've been really expensive.."

"Well you really needed one besides it's my treat really this way we'd be able to Text and call even while I'm at work for a bit and so you wouldn't have to miss me so much.."

"Thanks I love it..really.." I said hugging her and kissing her.

Her mom looked at us with a shocked face.

And I didn't even notice she was back inside the room...

We both stare at her not knowing what to say.
