Chapter 4 - Lunch

*time skip to lunch*
The bell rang and Mr Aizawa had let the class leave. Kaminari was about to ask Jiro if they could sit together during lunch but as soon as he turned towards her she walked over to Bakugo's table. To no surprise Kirishima, Sero and Mina were already sitting with him.

"Hey Jiro!" Mina squealed with an excited smile on her face.

"SHUT UP YOU STUPID EXTRA, YOU KNOW THAT IT HURTS JIRO'S EARS!!" Bakugo yelled at her.

A light tint of blush was covering Jiro's cheeks. Luckily for her nobody noticed because Bakugo and Mina were to busy arguing.

"YOU ARE LITERALLY YELLING! AND I WASN'T EVEN THAT LOUD!!" Mina screamed in his face.

Before he had time to reply Sero taped both of their mouths using his quirk.

"Thank you," Jiro said. Bakugo was right the yelling did hurt her ears and they were starting to ring. "Let's go get lunch before the break is over." She let out a sigh as she untied Mina and Bakugo. Neither of them dared say a word.

"Yes, I'm starving." Kirishima agreed.

As they made their way out of the now empty classroom and down the hall way there was a comfortable silence between them.

"Hey, I'm sorry for hurting your ears back there." Mina walked up to Jiro wrapping an arm around her shoulder.

"Yeah, me too." Bakugo agreed quietly standing on Jiro's other side.

"It's alright," The girl in the middle responded. "Just don't do it again." She let out a chuckle.

"We'll try not to." Mina assured and with that they were at the cafeteria.

The smell of different foods all combined to make a scent that smelt like heaven. A different herb or spice on every meal they walked past. As they walked over to the table they usually sit at they noticed that someone was there or more like two people.

Instantly Mina and Jiro recognised the two. There was a blond haired boy that had a black lightning-like strike in his hair and a purple haired boy that had balls for hair.

Bakugo walked over to them with sparks coming out of one of his hands while the over was in his pocket. A small smirk could be seen on his face.

"What do you two losers think your doing sitting at my table?!" Bakugo asked with a surprising calm tone.

The rest of his friend group came over so that he didn't kill the two pervs although they probably deserved it.

"We just came here to ask one of you a question." Mineta said nudging Kaminari.

"Yeah, um, Jiro I have something to ask you," Kaminari agreed nervously. "Could we talk. Somewhere a little more private, maybe?" He asked with a weak smile.

"No. Whatever you need to say you can say in front of my friends. I'm not going anywhere alone with you." Jiro said crossing her arms.

"But-" was all he could get out when Bakugo cut him off.

"You heard her. Spit it out before I blast you to pieces!" Bakugo said lifting his crackling hand up to prove he wasn't kidding.

"Alright, alright fine." Kaminari replied while putting his hands up.

Jiro and Bakugo had the same expression. One that said hurry up and say what you want to say so you can leave.

"Well, um, I, um, was wondering if you'd wanna go to a concert with me?" Kaminari looked down as if he was sad.

All Jiro could do was laugh. The rest of her friends had confused looks on their faces wondering if he was serious. Kaminari just sat there with a saddening face.

"Wait- your serious?" Jiro asked slowly loosing her smile.

All he could do to respond was nod.

"Um, no. Wanna know why? Because your a perverted idiot who only cares about what girls look like instead of who they really are. You probably just want to take me out so you can say that we dated and add me to the list of unlucky girls you've been with. In fact, I bet you haven't even dated anyone but if you have I feel sorry for them." Jiro said not letting him get a word in.

Kaminari just sat there star struck. He knew she would say no but he didn't know she thought that lowly of him.

"What are you still doing here?" Bakugo said starting to loose his temper. "She gave you her answer, now leave!" He started to raise the hand that had his quirk engaged.

With that Kaminari and Mineta were gone.
